I intended to order only 2 cutting boards and accidently ordered 4. I want to return 2 cutting boards.

I wouldn't even give it 1 star. This is a scam. I wanted a refund and they have disappeared I can't get them on the phone. Can't reach by email. I immediately felt something wasn't right as soon as I hit the button. I called careline 8 min on hold no response. Emailed they said they could not stop order. BS. Have reached out several more times no reply it can't be sent to sender. Paid to have it returned and it came back. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY. I will report to BBB.

The product doesn't seem like it lives up to the expectations, and I am unsure of how either the titanium board or the knife is not going to be damage. Metal on metal, something has to give.

It would have been better if I was able to cancel my order 5 minutes after placing it which I did. It was frustrating to be told it was too late to cancel.
Katuchef is a Ripoff
I recently purchased a Katuchef titanium cutting board. It had a sticker on the coated side that was virtually impossible to remove. I have tried all kinds of methods to remove the adhesive. It also looks scratched after one use. Also, it was only supposed to be $49, and I was billed $71.74. I called customer service and was on hold for 8 minutes, the second time I was on hold for 10 minutes, and no one answered.
Don't buy this brand, it's a ripoff! I also emailed their customer service, still no answer, except on here, but no solution yet.

In response to their response,the problem still unsolved. They sent an email that they will refund me part of the money and asked me to respond but the email they are using is not working and I keep receiving message that email not delivered. So I did not receive the refund. Lots of tricks with these people and if they really care about their reputation they should have used a reliable email service. The story of my suffering with this company is below in details:
I baught a titanum cutting board with non-slipsilicon mat. Order#52A2F6FFB5.
They cost me together US$91. It took almost a month to receive them. After receiving them found that the mat is shorter than the board. It should be covering all the board size. Also found they have charged me extended waranty i did not ask for. I contacted them for a return and refund. They told me I have to either pay for shipping and make sure I never used the board or they gave me 25% back and keep the product. Since I did not use their product but remove the protecting layer from the board, i accepted the 25% but found that the emails I send to them bounce back and the message either delivery is not complet or the receipient inbox is full. I started to feel this company is a scam and I lost this money for cheap product from China. My advice to every one, if you like to pay more for cheep stuff and be tricked by receiving low quality products, then go ahead any waste your money with this katuchef company

Great customer service - Product not as expected
The customer service representative was super helpful when I needed help with my order.
The reason I'm not satisfied with my order is that the titanium cutters I ordered as a gift do not have the "KatuChef" brand anywhere in the packaging, and these don't seem to be genuine KatuChef products. Also, the cutters are much smaller than I anticipated.

This cutting board is just so-so. It is smaller than it appears in the ads (just 11 1/2 by 8) and scratches very easily. I’ve used it just a few times and it looks like it’s 10 years old.

I should have checked here before attempting to buy from them. The booking process is a scam. Before finally confirming online they attempt to upsell you. There is no easy way around the upsell so you try again. I never received an online confirmation or an immediate email so tried again. The last time I did not get an upsell and got an online confirmation and email. They subsequently ended up sending email confirmations and charging for the 3 attempts that did not appear to go through. Contacted them immediately which they answered but drew out the process to the point they said they were shipped. This is purposefully deceit. Do Not book through them.

Shady company.. I saw an ad on Facebook, so I went directly to the Katuchef website to look at products. The cutting boards looked great so I put a couple in my shopping cart. Wasn't ready to check out yet, but was considering it. The way their website is designed, you have to keep accepting or declining special add-on products and services over and over. All I wanted to do was look at my shopping cart and make a decision.
Next thing I know, it says "Thank you for your order"!! I immediately emailed the company asking to cancel and they told me it was too late. Their words "Our warehouse team has pre-packed, “ready to go” orders based on how common certain purchases are. This means that the only thing that is left for them to do is to print the shipping label and the order is then transferred to the courier. So the process is indeed really quick."
I called BS, which was spot on. Naturally, 5 days later, this order that was supposedly processed super quickly still has not shipped. They have $150 of my money and I have no product. I've now opened a claim with PayPal so hopefully I'll get a refund. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!
UPDATE: Now they reply saying they dont see my order. As a matter of fact, it is sitting in my house, ready to ship back for a full refund. But when I email them asking for return instructions, they either delay or the emails bounce back. I stand by my original review. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY! THEY'RE A SCAM!
2ND UPDATE: I received an partial refund, not a full refund! And this was only after I opened a dispute with PayPal (which was ultimately dismissed in the seller's favor for some reason). I then opened a dispute with my credit card company.. that dispute is still under investigation. I will fight as long as I have to to get my money back from Katuchef. And my original review still stands.
3RD UPDATE: My credit card company has ruled in my favor, so I've now gotten all my money back. I'm just thankful to be done with this whole mess! Bottom line..... STAY AWAY FROM KATUCHEF!
