I specifically asked multiple times whether there was anything I needed to do regarding my Hong Kong company and its filings, because I wanted to avoid compliance issues or fines. When I received a letter with a deadline, I immediately asked for help and followed up several times.
Despite this, I was only told after the deadline had passed that I needed to contact another company directly. Afterwards, I was told this was because I had not paid for the company renewal, but this was never clearly communicated when I was repeatedly asking for assistance.
Of course I understand that I’m ultimately responsible for my company, but the main reason for using a professional service like this is to have clear guidance on important compliance requirements and deadlines.
