The veg box itself wasn’t great. the quality was ok but the variety was limited so I cancelled after my first box. Earlier this week I received an marketing email headed “come back to the mission and get 50% off” so I rejoined with the abrupt interactions with customer service I soon found my order to be cancelled as I had used a discount that the email clearly encouraged me to for rejoining.

Honestly would’ve considered rejoining in a few weeks once the Kent crops offered a little more variety but the interactions with ‘Becca’ left me feeling like I was some sort of criminal trying to steal from them. As mentioned above, the quality is ok at best but I wouldn’t use them again based on their customer service alone.

Fantastic range of seasonal veg, fruit, sourdough bread etc. Interesting updates about the growing season and farming which make you feel part of the mission for home grown veg. Friendly and easy to use website and service. We can't wait for our box every week!

Always great quality. The use of local growers and resulting low food food miles really appealed to us.

Have been getting a Kent Veg Box fortnightly now for over 3 years- really enjoy seeing what’s there and planning how to make best use of the wide range of produce that we get. Quality is good and because it’s so fresh, most things keep for a good two weeks… Managing breaks for holidays is very straightforward. Also enjoy reading Steve’s updates about where different produce has come from etc. Keep up the good work guys!

Used KVB for years now so what do I love about them? They are local using Kent farms for Kent grown fresh produce, less miles to get to me, delivered to my door, in a reusable cardboard box, very limited packaging on salads and some veg, we get to eat seasonally. So healthier for us, supporting local businesses and local farms which means money back into our local economy. What's not to love! They also source dairy, fish and meat products from local businesses so if you want regular or extras it's all part of the KVB package.

The most cost effective way to eat healthy.

I love getting this box Im veggie and just buy my beans and lentils separately and have all my veg from here.

This has saved me money and helped me to get more greens in my diet. Also saves me time to think about what to cook with the recipe suggestions.

I like how open the email communication is with how things are growing and reminds you about the process and hard work it takes for farmers to grow things something that is often overlooked.

Excellent produce, extremely fresh and varied, great company and great customer service would highly recommend

Boxes are amazing! A good variety of veg, but as I also have a fruit box (also great). fish, meat and dairy I know that in my purchase of all of these I am helping our local farmers and fishermen.I have had only one real query, and this was sorted with speed. With courteous staff and informative mails we know each week both what will be in our boxes and additional produce on offer

Fantastic communication ever since we started using them. Produce arrives on time, every time, and we could not be happier. We are very lucky to have such an excellent service, providing such beautiful food on a regular basis. Consistency and great communication has made us long term users.

Excellent all round. Lovely and fresh produce straight from farms around Kent. Also free delivery. Brilliant.

I subscribed to Kent Veg Box since ten Years now and I have always had good experience and I appreciate their smooth communication. I advocate for defending local products, to give value to the exceptional products that are also grown here in UK. I highly recommend Kent Veg for anyone respectful of Nature and the anonymus hands, the farmers that are doing an amazing work.

What a great supplier. Very grateful to have found Kent Veg box. The boxes are amazing and the veg tastes like veg. The add ons just make this a better place to shop and now having been with them for a couple of months i TRUST all they are doing.

I got half a usable veg box, 2 cabbages and cauliflower were ok, but 3 carrots that were rotten and some thrown in loose leaves that were unidentified. Really disappointed in this.

I’ve been receiving my fruit and veg box for a few weeks and love it!
The veg might not look perfect but what an amazing taste. I’ve enjoyed everything so far and as it’s so fresh it last well.
I’ve opted out some weeks and added extra other weeks.
Really pleased to be receiving my boxes and supporting local farmers and producers.

I ordered a veg box which came, I'd set the subscription for 4 weeks but decided to order a veg box for this week, except I couldn't, the website kept adding my order for the following week, and charged me.
I used the 'chat' on the website to explain the issues and was told they'd move the date to this Wednesday, I also wanted to add mushrooms and apples and was told this wasn't an issue. Only today I received an abrupt message telling me they'd cancelled and refunded the £19 I'd paid for the veg box with no reason given, and they'd charge me again on Sunday. When I explained this wasn't what we'd agreed and I couldn't afford to have multiple payments for the same box out of my account (it takes a week to get the £19 I'd paid back into my account) he was really nasty and rude to me. He couldn't care less that he'd financially messed me up. He'd also deleted the conversation we'd had where he'd agreed to just charge me for the mushrooms and apples as I'd already paid £19 for the veg. Underhand, and untrustworthy. He really upset me and definitely didn't care that he lost a customer. Terrible way to run a business

I love my Kent Veg box! The produce is always delicious, so much tastier than supermarket equivalents. Plus it is easy to add extras or pause if you’re away. And the fact it is all local is a big bonus. Highly recommend !

I decided to try a box because I really don't eat enough veg. As I am on my own, it's quite a lot, but because it's so lovely and fresh, it's easy to prepare and freeze the surplus. The actual veg isn't always 'pretty', but it IS super quality and flavour. I also treat myself to a small wholemeal loaf, and this is excellent, and lasts really well. I would definitely recommend giving this company a try.

Delicious veg, it all tastes amazing! It's also made me try new recipes as the box included veg that I wouldn't automatically just add to my shopping trolley. The service is really easy to use, from the website to the delivery. Great way to support local farms.

I love Kent Veg. Wonderful fresh produce, great variety even in cooler months and excellent value alongside the great feeling I am supporting local businesses.
