Kenzi Club Agdal

We had a fantastic stay at Kenzi Club Agdal Medina as a family of four with two children aged 10 and 3. Our 10 year old summed it up perfectly by saying, “This was the best holiday ever!” That alone says a lot about our experience.

I’ll only comment on the services we personally used during our stay.

From the moment we arrived, the reception staff were polite, professional, and always willing to help with a smile. Every request or question was dealt with efficiently, making us feel genuinely welcome.

The food was excellent, with a great variety to suit all tastes. The restaurant staff were incredibly hardworking and always busy, yet they still found time to chat with us, remained friendly, polite, and always had a smile on their faces. We were genuinely impressed by their attitude and dedication.

The Kids Club deserves a special mention. Our children absolutely loved it and looked forward to going every day. They had an amazing time, and the team there was outstanding, making them feel welcome, entertained, and well looked after throughout our stay.

The gym was well equipped and had everything needed for a good workout. The swimming pools were excellent, providing plenty of space for both relaxation and family fun.

Our room was a good size, clean, comfortable, and well maintained. It felt modern enough and certainly wasn’t outdated. The bars also offered a good selection of drinks, so there was always something to suit everyone’s taste.

Overall, we had a wonderful holiday. What stood out the most was the consistently excellent service from every member of staff we encountered. Rather than mentioning individual names, we’d like to say that every single person we interacted with was exceptional and played a part in making our holiday so enjoyable.

Would we recommend Kenzi Club Agdal Medina? Absolutely.

Would we return? 100% without hesitation.

Just returned from Kenzi Club Agdal

Just returned from Kenzi Club Agdal Medina in Marrakech (Agdal) and were upgraded to a suite on arrrival. We had to wait for the room until 2.30 pm but were given wrist bands and told to use the hotel facilities.
The suite was huge with good facilities.
The hotel itself is huge with 4 restaurants- 2 exclusive on an all exclusive package and 2 with a supplement. Unfortunately we were only there for 3 nights so wanted to use the Moroccan restaurant but it was fully booked and we could only try and book the day before.
The restaurants were OK - wide range of food so plenty of choice. The service of the waiters were at times very slow so wine/drinks service was slow at times.
The pool facilities were good - a VERY cold but huge unheated pool and a heated smaller pool by a bar that at times was noisy with the entertainment team. The bar service was at times VERY slow with 1 or 2 waiters serving and all the drinks were local- brands that no one had ever heard of.
The entertainment in the evenings was not great. Very enthusiastic staff with some external entertainers who weren’t great. There was a very out of tune local singer singing traditional songs. The entertainment staff tried to gee the small crowds up but were unable to because the entertainment was so naff.
Would I stay again - yes but not longer than 4 nights. I’d bring my golf clubs next time though .

Majestic Marrakesh

I recently went on a golf holiday and stayed at the Kenzi Club Agdal hotel 5 star in Marrakesh. I already left a review with Golf Breaks and gave it a huge thumbs up. Perfect in everything. But I need to say more on the actual hotel and especially the staff. The food was awesome as always and have stayed there many times. The go to place in Marrakesh. The rooms and suite was beautiful and clean. Fresh linen and towels everyday. But I have to mention names now. The girls and boys who were part of the entertainment team of dancers and singers were amazing and we made really good friends with Youssra, Fatima, Charlene, Mario. They instantly took a liking to me and my wife and were overcome with warmth and happiness. Another world altogether. We have already booked two more trips next year. March and October. Could live there. And the restaurant staff Feta, Younis, Yusef, Ishmail and others all so friendly and helpful. Ensured we got a packed lunch on the golfing days when we would be too late for back for lunch. Then the team from reception who looked after you and transported you to the rooms with luggage. The Hotel is massive with over 900 Riads of suites and double rooms spread over 5 acres of land. Khalid, Mehdi, Utman, Rashid, Abdul, and others could not do enough for you. We are now part of the family and the warmth and sense of humour emanating from these beautiful souls is something we will never forget. To the managers Younis, Foued, and Zuhair all dedicated to making sure your stay went smoothly to the ladies at reception always with a smile. There is nothing like it anywhere else in the world.

Kenzi Menara Palace, Marrakesh

Hotel was beautiful and food was great. We wanted to do some excursions and Sherrif was amazing! He asked what sort of things were we’re interested in and then worked out a schedule. He was very friendly and hugely knowledgeable with perfect English! Our trip to the square and markets with our guide Adnan was a real highlight! I would highly recommend you speak to Sherrif if you stay there.

The one element that stopped me giving 5 stars was the restaurant service. The waiters were all friendly, but there was not enough of them, so tables were slow to be served drinks and when we needed more cutlery we had to go and find it for ourselves

TUI Kenzi Europa Agadir pathetic

TUI Kenzi Europa Agadir pathetic
Bad management, especially the day shift ones. They tried scam me at the end of my stay, saying to pay for damages non existent or previously existent. There is interconnecting rooms as I stayed in one but they lie in the responses to negative reviews. The one star reviews absolutely reflect this place at I personally experienced. They think the Brits and French are mugs, the little shop on site even tries to mug elderly British tourists. Shameful. Don't waste your money here, plenty of other options available. And TUI are ridiculous, absolutely no support whilst there nor after. Pathetic
Even the water is really dirty, kids play part is closed and non existent. Really not a good place nor ppl

How hard can it be

How hard can it be to book a room, I am already in agadir and after a recommendation to try this hotel I went along to reception ( admittedly the receptionist was helpful but his hands were tied) I wasn't allowed to reserve at reception for my return journey instead i was directed to a Web site and phone number. Firstly it was a moroccan number, not much use and certainly expensive with a uk sim card, I called at least 10 times over the afternoon and was constantly busy. Next I tried the Web site and was only shown the casablanca hotel and couldn't book the agadir hotel, complete waste of time. Next I e mailed reservation, again no response. Booking.com etc was showing fully booked but reception saying there was availability but couldn't take the booking.
I don't think I've been in a hotel anywhere in the world that reception couldn't take a booking for a room, unbelievable.
I understand TUi have recently taken over and changed things a bit. I remember years ago I walked in off the street and booked there and then, well done TUI with the progress made.
I hope things improve in the future especially as agadir and morocco are getting busier all the time but after today's debacle it seems to be going backwards.

During my stay at the Kenzi Farah…

During my stay at the Kenzi Farah Gardens, I was thoroughly impressed by the exceptional service. Hasna from the reception, and Buchara and Abdul at the restaurant, consistently greeted guests with warm smiles and made us feel truly welcome. Their attentiveness and friendly demeanor were remarkable. Although certain aspects of the hotel didn’t quite meet 5-star standards, the outstanding service more than compensated for any minor shortcomings. The breakfast experience was particularly memorable, offering a delightful array of options: fresh smoothies, custom omelettes, pastries, donuts, salads, and more. 🌟🍽️🌸

Get your money back from Expedia!

We Booked the Kenzi Club Agdal All Inclusive via Expedia but my nephew's wedding was not going ahead due to COVID 19. Have tried calling the hotel and emailed numerous times to reschedule to next year. Expedia say they will need to charge a further 50% as this is what the hotel has priced themselves for 2021.Over inflated prices and now we cannot do anything apart from lose almost £1400 as no one can help us. Poor service or customer care all round.
After numerous phone and being given different procedures to follow each time. I emailed the CEO and the Customer Journey Director and received a full refund which has now been received.

FIVE STAR (PLUS)

WOW. Just got back from a week in Morocco and now I’m pining for some Hot Moroccan Mint Tea and a pure cloudless blue sky! What a holiday that was. Early February and the average temperature was 26c. But it was the PEOPLE we met who made it so breath-taking. I’ve never seen so many natural smiles nor such warm natured personalities. It would seem that the natural Moroccan way is to make people ENJOY being in their country and accepting their amazing hospitality. And they really went the extra mile. We stayed in The Kenzi Club: Agdal Medina, a beautiful resort just a few miles from the city centre. It was peaceful, calm, fabulously well-appointed, with five pools, tennis courts, golf area, multiple bars, restaurants and club facilities too numerous to write down. But once again, filled with natural, warm-hearted staff who (I hope) will remain friends ’til my dying day. And it would have been so easy to just kick back in that beautiful resort and get spoilt on a daily basis. But we wanted the full deal. The markets, the culture, the waterfalls and horse taxis, snake charmers, dancers and monkeys. And oh boy, did we get it… First thing we did was make friends with the staff. They were truly amazing. I think we had Mahmoud spoiling us every morning and Ayoub spoiling us every night. You could actually see their faces light up when they saw us. But then, those smiles and those personalities were infectious. And their language skills were second to none. Five star service in a four star resort. They REALLY made our stay magnificent. But we weren’t just spoilt by two people (they’re sadly just the only names I can remember right now) although my favourite was a terrifically talented entertainer named Pichu (short in stature but HUGE in personality) and with a massive perma-smile to boot, who seemed to be on duty twenty four hours a day. They ALL did… Never once did we ever feel uncomfortable, regardless of the rumours we read in the British Media before we flew out (sometimes I think the British media have an agenda against anything that’s not ‘British’). So we took the Tour Guide’s advice and immersed ourselves in the local culture. We ate the lamb terrine (yes, it’s delicious) we ventured into the local markets (take it slowly and don’t touch their wares if you want a quiet life). Dined in the restaurants with the musicians, snake charmers, belly dancers and singers. Took all the day trips we could fit in and accepted the Tour Guide’s advice (they’re there to help, not to hinder). And later this year, we’ll go back again (to see all the places we missed out on) because with the current exchange rate it was incredible value for money.
We met tourists from all over the planet, made friends with so many different people (from so many varied cultures) who opened our eyes to the natural warmth of other races, creeds, nationalities and religions. Laughed so much our sides ached, and danced like no one was watching It was fun in the extreme.

Go visit.

Find out for yourselves. And I’ll leave you with one final brief anecdote. On the day that we left, there was a terrific young dancer named Sarah who’d just finished her morning dance show. But we’d turned up late, and pretty much missed the whole of her class. And instead of taking her break (like many others might have done) she volunteered to stay on and do it again for us. Never missed a beat. Never let that amazingly beautiful natural smile drop. Because THAT is the Moroccan nature I was telling you about. She WANTED everyone to smile. Enjoy themselves. get active and have fun. And she just LOVED her job. So I filmed the whole thing (see below) as she taught two young (very shy) Chileans how to dance (and didn’t she teach them beautifully?) I’ll post pictures and other stuff later. But for me, this was the moment of the week. A happy faced Moroccan girl (with a ready smile and a big BIG heart) showing the rest of the world her way to deal with stress and forget the daily drudge of life. We could all learn a thing or two about dealing with stress like this on a daily basis…

ENJOY

Kenzi Menara Palace Resort Marrakech ..... NOT 5 star hotel

We where Staying there for 6 days in oktober 2018 - 2 couples trip.
Bad food, very bad buffet - same everyday, bad food at the pool cafe .... Yak salat , worse burgers and the pizza was a cheap supermarked frossen pizza. Both restaurants Closed for 3 hours ...... from 5pm-8pm¡ So you have to wait To 8 to to eat ...
We paid for all incl BUT mostly good things costed 'Extra' as they called it. Extra for icecream , for good coffe and whisky and more. This hotel was so disappointing, NOT even 3 star.
They does NOT wash the room floors- We had to Call to the reception everytime for dirty floors. We waited 2 hours for some one to comeback with clean towels, and 30 min for some one to come and fix the safebox.

Will the staff by the pool was friendly .. and helpful at the reception..... otherwise NOT worth money
