Would not give quote

I was at a friend's celebration of life when I accidentally locked my keys in the car. So we asked around to a couple of our friends to see if they had a slim Jim or a way to get into my car and nobody did. So I googled locksmiths near me and I went on the map that pulls up and I picked one close to me because it was 7:00 p.m. and I knew I'd probably get charged the further they had to come cuz there's one I've used before but it was clear on the other side of town for me. I initially called to get a quote to make sure I had enough money I only had $95 and I wanted to make sure I had enough to be able to have somebody come out and do this for me. So I called Key me in Lacey Washington. The gentleman on the phone told me that he had to call the person coming out to do the lockout my information so that he could call me and give me a quote and let me know how long it would be till he came out. About 7 minutes later gentleman called me back and said that the locksmith was on his way and would be there in 40 minutes and I questioned that and said I thought he was going to call and give me a quote and he told me that he could not give me one until he got there. I should have known something was wrong then because I gave him the make and model of my car and the address where I was at which was only 5.3 miles away from the locksmith place that I had found on Google. Then the woman who had lost her husband that we were having to celebration of life for told me she had a little bit of money on her and she would help cover a little bit more if I didn't have enough. I figured okay it's $150 175 we've got it covered. When the guy got there he told me it was going to be $265 I about cried. I've been out of work for a couple weeks because I was sick and I'd gotten behind my bills so I was trying to get all my bills caught up cuz I was back at work again. But my vehicle is part of my job if I don't have it I can't make any money. So I said I have to call my boss and ask her if I can borrow $200 because I have 95. He stood right next to me while I called my boss and she gave him her credit card number over the phone for $200 and when she got off the phone I was informed it was 275 and then a minute later he said it's going to be about 300 with taxes and fees. At this point I straight up told him I only have $95 she paid the $200 I have 95 is that going to work? He said that would work and I informed him it would have to be on two separate debit cards one for $75 and one for 20. I've only locked myself out of my car one other time it also was at a celebration of life and it only cost me $60 and it was on a weekend during the day on the weekend but on the weekend. That was the place I wanted to call on the other side of town but knew it would cost more and it had been a couple years so I thought maybe just maybe prices had gone up that much. After he got in my car I asked if he could please send the receipt to me he asked if my phone number would be fine to send it to and I said yes because I wanted to show my boss so she would know that I wasn't being untruthful about the cost for the lockout. When I got home at 9:00 p.m. I looked and I still hadn't received a receipt so I called the office back and I explained the situation needing the receipt and the woman on the phone told me she would send it to my email. I gave her my email address and still have not received it. Then I got to looking at their website some more and started looking at all the bad reviews regarding lockouts. The physical address for this" business" is actually a key kiosk inside of a grocery store. So the 5.3 mi it was supposed to take to get to me actually turned into a lot more cuz the other reviews that I read said that they were coming from gig harbor for the other people that were upset about their overcharge. I've also read all their terms and conditions and without that receipt I can't request refund or get a refund! So Monday I will be contacting the better Business bureau and the attorney general's office and filling out the forms to report this business then I'm going to go to department of licensing and see what I can do about them getting their licenses taken away because they refuse to give me a quote before they came out. This is so frustrating I'm a single person and with rent prices right now I can't afford anything. And now I owe my boss $200 I have 47 cents to my name to last me till next week when I have to give two of the $300 I'm getting to my boss and it's just really sucks that somebody would take advantage of somebody at a funeral like that. By the way if you use this company make sure to ask them if they're licensed and insured because it's not the responsibility of the company that you actually call to have this taken care of to do this they have a third party company that checks it but it's our responsibility as a consumer to make sure that they have that license and insurance which I wish I'd known. So steer clear of these guys if you locked keys in the car!
