Great Family owned Company that really Cares about their Clients.
My experience with Key 2 Texas Realty was deeply disappointing due to their unprofessional handling of critical aspects of my home-buying process. While I had hoped for guidance and support as a first-time homebuyer, their negligence and lack of accountability created significant financial and emotional burdens.
Failure to Enforce Repair Amendments:
Before closing, the inspection report identified serious safety concerns, including ungrounded outlets, missing GFCI plugs, and plumbing leaks. These issues were addressed in a signed repair amendment requiring the seller to make the necessary repairs. However, at closing, no receipts or documentation were provided to confirm that the repairs were completed. Despite this, my realtor advised me to proceed with closing.
Missing Documentation:
After closing, I discovered that the repair amendment was not included in my closing documents. When I contacted my realtor, they uploaded the repair amendment to an online portal weeks after closing, demonstrating a lack of attention to detail that made it difficult for me to hold the sellers accountable for their obligations.
Dismissive Responses:
When I raised concerns about the unresolved repairs and missing documentation, my realtor suggested I sue the sellers instead of acknowledging their own role in ensuring the transaction was handled correctly. This dismissive attitude was unprofessional and left me without the support I expected from my real estate agent.
Their negligence resulted in over $30,000 in repair costs and ongoing safety hazards in my home. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend Key 2 Texas Realty to others seeking reliable and professional real estate services.
