Absolutely awful experience with Keygo — avoid at all costs.
At checkout, they falsely accused me of damaging the car, even though the damage was already there when I picked it up. I had clear photographic evidence to prove this, but they completely dismissed it and refused to take any responsibility.
Instead of handling the situation professionally, their staff became argumentative and uncooperative. To make things worse, they threatened to withhold my deposit unless I paid for damage I did not cause. This feels extremely dishonest and borderline like a scam.
I’ve never experienced such poor customer service. They clearly don’t care about fairness or their customers, only about taking your money. If you value your time, money, and peace of mind, stay far away from Keygo.

Worst experience ever! Warning, do not use. They refused to deliver a car because the airline tickets did not match the exact dates of the car rental. I needed to rent the car again directly with the company and paid double rent. They refer to fine print which was not communicated in advance. Unserious company. Appearing to change name to Sicily By Car.

I had an amazing experience with them. Very easy booking and set up even though I didn’t come perfectly prepared. Car was in great condition and the handover was as easy as the set up. Had a very nice gentleman who helped me, sadly forgot his name as it was in January and I forgot to write this review! But better late then never.

We had a very positive experience with this car rental company. I booked the car over the phone, and the customer service was excellent from the very beginning. The representative was extremely helpful and service-minded, and I was pleasantly surprised to receive a better price than the one listed online — with insurance included.
We picked up the car at midnight without any additional charge, which was greatly appreciated. The staff member who welcomed us was very friendly and professional. Since we were traveling with small children, we were even upgraded to a larger car at no extra cost, which made our trip much more comfortable.
The pickup process was quick and smooth, the car was spotless and in perfect condition, and we experienced no issues whatsoever. Returning the car was just as easy and hassle-free.
Overall, we are very satisfied and would definitely use this company again. Highly recommended!

Absolutley disgusting customer care.
Lost money, no apology and pure robbery just becuase I had not flown in to Alicante on the same day. This requirement is not on the website, but hidden within the small print.
BE CAREFUL, or simply STAY AWAY.

Avoid. It feels like we were scammed. The agency did everything it could to pick a fight and finally refused to give us a car. We remember not seeing any cars in our category when we came in. They may have overbooked or preferred to give the car to someone who was willing to pay their overpriced insurance. I see some other reviews mentioning similar experiances.
The shuttle did not arrive at the scheduled pickup time. When we called, they said they would send it again, but it drove past very quickly and my husband had to run after it and stop it. The driver said she didn’t stop because she didn’t hear us, which was surprising given the closed windows and loud music.
At the office, we were treated impatiently and asked to sign that we were responsible for the car despite having insurance. When the agent tried to place a hold on the wrong credit card, my husband muttered something to himself out of frustration. The agent claimed he cursed her (which even her colleague said was not the case) and refused to give us the car.
We had to arrange another rental at the last minute, which cost us extra money, time, and a lot of frustration.
We later saw many recent reviews describing similar experiences and wish we had seen them before.
I have just been scammed by this…
I have just been scammed by this company, having used car hire in Alicante for the last 20 years this is definitely the worst car hire company. We hired a car for 3 days & took a video prior to leaving and they have now charged us €482 for damage that was previously there. The girl first said there was damage on the under area of the bumper which was impossible to see, then proceeded to list 2 other areas. Please do not use this company!

An appalling experience from start to finish. On pick up the rep tried to charge me an additional 25euro for breakdown cover which I was told was mandatory. When I argued, I was told that I didn't have to pay it. I was not given any paperwork to go with the vehicle and had to check damage in a dark car park.
On return the service was worse. The rep went immediately to the front of the vehicle and pointed out a small, stone chip on the front bumper of the vehicle. The charge for 1 small stone chip, €290!
Avoid at all costs, total rip off merchants.
Don't do business with this company
They are set to steal you money.
Hidden fees from the very beginning, they were asking for a deposit even this is not advertised.
You are basically cohered into paying all those fees once you are there, what are you options, walk with the luggage in a Spanish village trying to find another transport?
They are not adhering to European regulation, if you return the car before the date scheduled, you are not using their service any longer, they are NOT offering any compensation.
Even if you buy full coverage, it is not full, oh, wait and read the contract, ZERO coverage for:
-Daños interior
-Daños a terceros o al vehículo de alquiler debido a negligencia o conducción inapropiada, incluido el importe de los días de paralización del vehículo hasta su reparación.
-Pérdidas de sillas de niños.
-Daños o pérdidas de antenas, gato, triángulos de seguridad, chalecos, llaves, limpiaparabrisas, tapón del depósito de la gasolina, bandejas del maletero, radio/CD/navegador o cualquier otro componente móvil o fijo del vehículo.
-Daños al motor embrague y caja de cambios.
-Robo del vehículo con las llaves puestas.
-Repostaje de combustible erróneo.
- Abandono del vehículo.
Absolutely ridiculos, as ALL the vehicles already have full insurance, for anything, just robbery.
They are HUNTING for the minor screch or anything to get some more money out of you!
Disputed Damage Charge – Customer Service Blocked Me
In addition to terrible customer service, I was charged €40 simply for wanting to return the car 15 minutes before their opening hours. After returning the car, I was then suddenly informed that I had caused damage to the left front bumper.
The “damage” they referred to was already listed and documented in the damage report and photos from before I received the car. Despite this, I was charged just under €500 for the same pre-existing damage. When I pointed this out via WhatsApp, I was simply blocked instead of receiving a proper response.
As others have also written: cheap rental prices, but it appears their business model is to charge customers for damages that do not exist, or that were already there, in order to make extra money. I clearly cannot recommend this company.
Cheap but they charge you for microscopic scratch
The location of the office is over 2 kn from the airport (but they send the shuttle to collect you). The rental is cheap but when I returned the car they found a microscopic scratch (looking old) in the hidden place and took 200 euro from the deposit. I do not recommend this company.
