Poor customer service and long delay

Kicksshop eventually delivered my order, but the delivery was significantly delayed and the handling of the problem was poor. I paid for shipping, had to chase updates myself, and no fair compensation was offered afterwards. Customer service kept pointing to the carrier instead of offering a proper solution. Disappointing experience overall.

Update after seller response:

I understand that the seller refers to the carrier, but from the customer’s perspective the shipping and delivery process remains the seller’s responsibility.

When such a significant delay happens, the customer should be offered a practical solution, whether that means a refund, a partial refund, or some form of compensation. Instead, I was left waiting, chasing updates myself, and repeatedly hearing that nothing could be done until the carrier responded.

That is why I stand by my review and by my assessment of the overall customer experience.

We herkennen ons echter niet in het beeld dat je schetst. Je bestelling is vanuit onze kant op tijd verzonden. Omdat het om een levering naar Letland gaat, is het pakket afhankelijk van internationale vervoerders. De vertraging is daar ontstaan en ligt buiten onze invloed.

Tijdens het proces hebben wij je steeds van updates voorzien zodra er nieuwe informatie beschikbaar was. Dat je zelf “achter updates aan moest” gaan, vinden wij dan ook niet juist.

Wat betreft compensatie: wij bieden geen vergoeding voor vertragingen die door de vervoerder worden veroorzaakt en buiten onze macht liggen.

We vinden het jammer dat je de ervaring zo beoordeelt, maar blijven achter de manier waarop dit is afgehandeld staan.
