I wish I had read these reviews before appointing Colin to my case. His planning application on my behalf fell well short of professional standards. It consisted of 5 pages altogether, one of which was a covering page and two pages were drawings and photos all submitted by me. So his ‘work’ was barely 2 pages for which I was charged £2500. Needless to say the application was thrown out so I had to go to appeal costing me another £2k. I used a different company for the appeal who prepared a 25 page appeal report which was subsequently passed. This is what Colin should have produced the first time. To top off a bad experience, Colin then had the audacity to send me another bill for his time after his application was refused when it was apparent I was not going to use him for the appeal. He was obviously hoping to get the appeal work so I suspect this may have been his plan all along in producing such a shoddy planning application to begin with. I don’t know how he can call himself a planning consultant and sleep at night. The man has no integrity.

Based on my experience Colin has a very poor understanding of current best practice for residential planning applications, I would not recommend him for this type of work.
