Terrible customer service, avoid!

Terrible customer service. Ordered over £100 worth of items. Took 14 days to arrive (DHL have been equally useless!) absolutely no help whatsoever from customer services, could barely be bothered to send an email back (and that was inept). Which is a shame, as their products are great! Maybe source your kikkerland products from John Lewis and Oliver Bonas as I’d not recommend you order direct, it’s been a headache!

Think you can return? Think again. Let my tale be a warning to ye!

First off, let me say how much I love Kikkerland products. I have ordered from them many times and had no problems and I will probably still continue to order from them but my goodness I wish I had known more of their return policy. DO NOT BOTHER SENDING RETURNS - it was not an easy process. After I paid for return shipping and then not receiving full refund for the items I received (which were sent back unopened and in good condition since they were supposed to be Christmas presents), in the end I only got $10 back. It's better to keep all items to either gift in the future to someone, or sell locally because a return will get you nothing back. Shop conscientiously (especially in the days of easy Amazon returns). Not only that but I had to follow up to ask about the return status - tracking on my packages showed that they were delivered early January and by early February had not received any words that items were received and refunds were processing...I had to email customer service and really bug them, at which point they were "located" in their warehouse and I was PARTIALLY refunded. I would have never seen my refund if I didn't follow up with them again and again. A truly arduous process for very little money to get back. ALSO - I had returns from two orders I placed and I couldn't ship them in the same box, they said I had to send TWO DIFFERENT BOXES to make it easier on their warehouse (which clearly it didn't since it took over a month). Hopefully my tale will help shoppers navigate Kikkerlands awful returns process. They have great stuff, but be careful.

Original products and great service

Besides making fun and original products Kikkerland has great service.
I got a kitchen timer (shaped like a Mozart bust) as a present but it did not work.
I mailed the Dutch/European branch of Kikkerland (Caitlin) and they sent me a new and working one! Without a receipt, just a picture of the timer was needed.
Great service, I liked them before but now evenmore!

Bad and dishonest - This company should be dissolved

This company should be dissolved. They have bad products and poor customer service. And from reading other reviews, the low quality spreads across numerous products. Very disappointed with this company.

I purchased the Clock cross stitch kit, which is very misleading and falsely advertises a clock design that you CANNOT complete with the materials provided. There is not enough string to make the clock shown on the box and the company is well aware of it. There are also zero instructions. Customer service also refused to provide more string, and would not give info about the string brand/color to buy it myself. Just terrible. False advertisement… do NOT buy or support this company who is selling scam products and provide no support

bike repair kit is worthless

I bought a bike repair kit. On the package it says "Quality steel" I used the hexnut wrench ones and it already broke. And now I can't fix my bike.
Don't spend your money on this disgrace of a product. Find something worth your while.

poor quality lap top tray with bean bag

I bought a kikkerland bamboo lap top for £23.99. I thought it was rather expensive for what it was but it looked nice and would be useful. However, after only a few uses the whole of 1 side became unstuck and small polystyrene balls were all over the chair and floor. Not good when there are animals and babies around apart from the problem of picking up static polystyrene.

These products need to be made so that the filling is in some extra bag, so they can't come out if the main 'bean bag' come unstuck.

No post-purchase service!

I needed a battery cover for a Kikkerland Gear Clock and was told "We do not sell replacement parts. You need to buy a new clock". Buyer beware! If there was a minus 10 rating, I would give them that.

Ordered the Solar Einstein last week…

Ordered the Solar Einstein last week and it arrived rather quick, but then even after leaving it for hours in the sun the moving hand stops moving after 1 minute. The thing simply doesn't functions as promised, beside that as an artist I can say that the design is quite amateuristic, the head is ok-ish but the body is designed by someone who can't draw or sculpting. The company offered to send another one without any guarantee if that one would function, it seems their products leave the factory without any end control. My judgement: a amusing concept but non quality result.

*****Save yourself the money and hassle. DON'T BUY FROM THEM!*****

Honestly, kikkerland is good in concept... but the application is AWFUL! Products have some seriiouuusss quality control issues and THERE ARE NO RETURNS!!! Despite claiming they offer returns, there is no option to actually carry it out on your account. You have to contact them and even then, they never respond. I had a massive haul consisting of 20 items I bought from them, out of those 20 items only 5 were acceptable quality. The rest was poorly made, had defects, and other awful crap that is NOT ACCEPTABLE for a business. This sucks cause the stuff they sell is pretty cool in concept, but the actual product is crap quality.

******DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!******

I would have given a "ZERO" star rating…

I would have given a "ZERO" star rating if I could. I will NEVER purchase one of their products again, EVER! I purchased 2 of their games from a local store - the last 2 they had. One was a gift the other was for me. Turns out that mine was missing a piece. I called the 800 number only to be transfered to a different dept, then disconnected. I called back, got the other number to call, called that number only to be given yet another number to call. FINALLY, I get the right dept. only to be told that they cannot help me and I should return the product to the store I purchased it from. I told the woman "I want the game I just need the missing piece". I even offered TO PAY for said peice. She again said she couldn't help me. I asked for a supervisor who told me the same thing. Save your money and buy with confidence from a company that will stand by their product(s) and offer replacements if, and when, needed.
Kikkerland, you need to learn more about customer service. Here is a novel idea "try listening to your customers". "NEVER" AGAIN WILL I BUY A KIKKERLAND PRODUCT!

this company is a scam

this company is a scam. don't buy anything from them.
I bought some items, not satisfied, they said I could return them, I shipped them out, no response, I tried to email, but no response from them. it's been about two months

Worst customer service ever

Worst customer service ever. Do not order their products. I placed an order through the Fancy app. A month went by, no product, no shipment notification, and no communication of any kind. I sent several messages through the app, website and tried to call. Absolutely no response. I was finally able to report them through Fancy customer service who issued me a refund. They are crooks.

They don’t allow returns - or, at least, they try to duck returns. They have failed to respond to any of my attempts to get info on how to return an item.

DON’T RECCOMMEND THEM! (Unless you order via Amazon which has a great return policy / system)

Excellent Service.

I'd never heard of this company before but bought one of their products recently, unfortunately, it developed a fault. I contacted them and the customer services I received was second to none and a replacement item sent straight out. I will certainly purchase their products again in future. Thank you very much.
