Its pretty good school though curriculum for art is a bit boring and not so accepting to subjects considered "Dead', like mythology, a subject I enjoy and probably so do some people, also lack of clubs for other subjects.

This has been so good for my daughter. She is happy and settled and enjoys keeping now!
The school are supportive and care and give lots of feedback to parents
I like the fact I can see what she’s learning about and support her when needed.
She has made so much progress since joining kings!

Easier navigation around parent hub? Adding both guardians to parent hub?
Teacher need to response to students email quicker ?

Contact is very patchy especially when an issue arises. The school hides behind digital contact.
Notice was given in December 2025 following concerns with curriculum content in the previous months. An initial video call where concerns were raised but shut down ultimately as no follow up was made. Multiple changes to reflect tutors during our time there was a pain and it was only on our last day that the new tutor touched base (having forgotten I'd called him after comments on work did not reflect ability or effort made - I'd already said we were not continuing with yet another "diversity/kindness" focused project) only for me to query with him why the call and discussion of next term when this was our final day - the tutor was surprised to hear we were leaving as had not been passed details of concerns or told that we were leaving by KIH (left hand not knowing what the right is doing).
Having followed all instructions to give a terms notice and chasing up to make sure I'd done so according to contractual obligations I received an invoice addressed to the child this time and a message stating invoice past due - it wasn't as shouldn't have been issued. Now in limbo as deposit is being withheld (theft) and no means of speaking with anyone in the accounts department in spite of a request to do so via email as they will not call out just send emails. Have spoken with customer service liaisons who confirm I followed processes and that they do not understand why the invoice has been issued after we left they also have no means of putting me in touch with the relevant person only having a "form" to fill in to pass on my request for contact. So we just go round and round the same merry go round.
Edited: matter resolved with full refund sent through.

The best online school. Good communication and standard education

From a parents perspective - some of the communication was slower than some….
In some subjects the feedback seemed less than precise…

My daughter has been a pupil at the school for 2 years now. Although, I have no issues with the teaching element I’m afraid the school heavily lacks in resolving payments and accounting problems.
I have consistently been let down in ongoing payment issues when they clearly have internal problems within their accounts department where the staff are not doing their job properly!
Rather than solving the internal issues they have parents are badgered consistently in paying for fees that have already paid.
Nearly every month I am approached via email with links to make payment and constant reminders to pay fees which I have already paid!
Every month I send them snapshots of proof of payment to get them off my back.
It’s really frustrating.
Recently, they went into my bank account and took money for a school trip that my daughter was not joining. I have been calling the school constantly to get the money back.
Every single time I am told that the accounts department isn’t available and that they will call back to resolve the issue.
It’s been over 2 weeks now! No response either email or otherwise.
It’s disgusting! It’s stressful and unnecessary.
Honestly, I am appalled!

This review started off as a complaint following a bad experience with GCSE familiarisation - originally KIH was slow to respond but when they realised that I had a genuine issue they worked very hard to push Pearson to correct platform issues.
Compliments to Fiona Henderson and Emma Gardner for all the effort and assistance.
I have edited this review from a 1* to a 5* in recognition.

As an expat in the Middle East, we looked online for the best UK curriculum online school for our children to take GCSE and A-levels. Interhigh Schools was well reviewed, and we have been with them for 6 years. During which many changes, mostly positive, have taken place in the school, like the Inspire partnership to make it King’s Interhigh.

Easy to pic subjects.
Had an issue with one subject not selected when I re-entered and reviewed again. So not sure if it saved final selectioj

Daughter seems happy - but I have had zero feedback from the school.
All communication is links to here or there, no pdf or letters actually sent…
All communication is the same for entire school. Not specific year groups.
Emails set to a few teachers to ask for calls, nothing comes of it…
It’s very odd… not sure what to do.
I asked how I arrange payment for NY but no comms comes back? Quite impossible actually. Recently got an email informing of art supplies needed for next term, but, can’t find the list in the attachment of multiple pages. Just feels messy and extremely generic.

Kings Interhigh has changed our lives. My daughter couldn’t cope in mainstream for a variety of reasons. Since starting at KI a few months ago she has flourished and is loving learning again. Lots of support available and all the staff are wonderful. I highly recommend.

Overall, a positive experience. The teachers are helpful and responsive, and the platform is quite easy to use. My son has adapted well, and it gives him a good balance between studying and flexibility.

After seven years with this community, I can confidently say this is the future of education. We traded traditional classroom discipline for a space where students want to be. It is a school where SEN and neurodiverse traits aren't just "managed", they are respected, accommodated, and given the time they need to flourish. The gift of a school day that includes independent learning (and zero evening homework) has changed our family life. Whether tuning in live or catching up on recordings, the flexibility allows my child to remain calm and in control. From local parent meet-ups to official school trips, the social connection is global and genuine. If you want a school that prepares your child for the modern world while protecting their well-being, this is it.
