He will take your money and run
Appalling service. Ordered a 2007/08 Manchester United top on 30th August and was told delivery is 10days. Was then told on 6th September that the order had been shipped, so was waiting for the tracking number. Nothing arrived so was then told that the original supplier had taken their money and thus another supplier had to be sourced.
Then had to chase again on 19th September due to no update and was told that my order would be in the shipments in that week. I advised that if my order does not arrive by the Friday (24th September) I would like a refund.
Apparently the order had been shipped on the Monday. Lo and behold no order arrived by Friday so I requested a refund. That’s when the attitude and abysmal customer service began.
Despite stating previously that he had contacted Royal Mail and they had ‘misplaced’ the items he then began accusing me of receiving the item and still wanting money back. Not sure how that works when I have no item. He then stated that he is happy to refund if I return the product when received - again, not sure how I can return an item I haven’t received? He made excuses to say his cousin had posted the item and hadn’t posted it with tracking - again, this is not my problem as a customer. It is an error on his part so surely he should be refunding me and taking it up with his internal processes?
I then advised that I would be taking this up with Trading Standards as it is in breach of my Consumer Rights, and he started telling me about how he has “the best lawyers in the business”. Sorry but even the best lawyers would see right through this and clearly conclude that the person is a thief.
Lots of delay tactics, appalling attitude, and disgraceful service.
