Be really careful dealing with this company. If you give them an advanced payment and then need to cancel your kitchen, for whatever reason, you won’t get any money back. Extremely sharp practice. I’m a doctor in Barrowford, where one of their showrooms is. Please make certain that you can afford to lose the money, even if they actually don’t fit a single cabinet. Unscrupulous money grabbing salespeople, who appear to be bothered about financial margins only.

Extremely disappointed with my experience with Kitchen Design Centre. I paid a premium for what was promised to be a high-quality kitchen, but what I received was far from acceptable. A serious error was made during the installation of the worktop – the edge profile was completely wrong and visibly flawed. Independent professionals confirmed it was a clear quality control failure.

Despite raising the issue early, it took nearly two years of back and forth to get any meaningful engagement. The initial remedial attempt failed and left my home covered in dust. Later proposals to “fix” the issue resulted in an 8mm gap at the back of the worktop—exactly what I was told would not happen. Even the team carrying out the remedial work commented on how bad the original installation had been.

Throughout the process, I was met with poor communication, delays, and a clear refusal to take ownership of the issue. At no point did anyone check to see if I was happy with the final outcome—only demands for full payment. Eventually, after exhausting all options and feeling completely let down, I reluctantly accepted a small discount and have been left with an inferior finish in my kitchen.

This experience has been frustrating, time-consuming, and completely avoidable had the company delivered the quality and service they promised. Based on this, I cannot recommend Kitchen Design Centre.

We had looked at a few different kitchen places before going to the Kitchen Design Centre Manchester - Wow! what a breath of fresh air.
The showroom and the standard of kitchens, coupled with the range of cool options, was different class.
We dealt with Paul throughout, who designed the kitchen around our requests. He was always happy to tweak the design with changes we asked for, as the plan developed and he came up with some great ideas for the surrounding living space too.
Billy was a fantastic installer, always on time, helpful and meticulous during the installation, as was his son too, who came in for a day to help.
The service and quality is faultless.
It’s good to know we wont be looking for new kitchens now for many, many years, but know when we do, there’s only one place we need to go.

I had a new kitchen designed and fitted in 2016 after the Boxing Day floods devastated my home. I went for a contemporary design featuring putty concrete cabinets, finished with designer white Corian worktops and high tech Neff appliances. It was a great experience from start to finish and my kitchen is still looking stunning two years on. I would highly recommend Kitchen Design Centre to friends and family.

I had two rooms knocked through into one fabulous dining kitchen. Excellent design and super personal service. I am thrilled with the results with wonderful use of space. We spend so much time in there now as it is such a comforting place to be. Exactly how I pictured it and captured so well by the designers.

Fantastic service, from walking through the showroom doors right through to completion this company goes the extra mile to make the whole process as easy and stress free as possible. Once the design was finalised the kitchen was installed by their own fitters who were very professional, polite and worked to a very high standard.
