its ok

the website is extremely barebones but is still very accessible and user-friendly.
i've used kleki since 2020.
the fill tool is not very good and the save mechanism in this program is extremely crude and occasionally nonfunctional.
it also lacks many important features present in higher-end art apps, such as the ability to keep multiple saves or use a lasso tool, or apply sfx such as chromatic aberration on drawings.
otherwise it's fine, super simple and easy to use

My idea on Kleki.com

I love this website but some things to say:

It has a few flaws. For example the bucket tool could be stronger because some of the section that I want to fill just stays the same. And other people are saying that their hard work was lost because it didn't save but in reality it was their fault that they didn't save it to files themselves

Four stars!!

I actually really liked this website! It was easy to draw on, could easily draw with my finger and etc! The only reason this isn't a five star is because it's somewhat difficult to get to the undo button. It's hidden in an entire menu but overall this is an amazing website for drawing. Would recommend to others.

Kleki is HORRIBLE!

Kleki is horrible! I used the app and whenever spent so long making an art I was so proud of and I was thinking of posting it on tiktok but all of a sudden the screen froze and I was so disappointed bc the thing didn’t even save the art so when I left and came back the art was gone and I had to redo it and I was so angry bc I’m not redoing something that took me atleast 2 hours to do and that was one of my best arts I’ve met before

My Reqest

Kleki is a very great app! One of my favorites! I would like a new option though. I would like a new option. I would like to be able to put layers into a file. Like assiesories. You would be able to have the hair, jewels, and glasses under the accessories file. You get what I mean right? Please update it with my request!

Love your game Sai-

Decently good

Decently good. I used it for around 2 years, and it worked. It's easy to learn the controls, and there has been a save option added (very nice!).
On to my criticism.
Kleki is super easy. But, the brushes are incredibly low quality. You can see the pixels, even on the largest canvas setting.
There is no blur brush. You CAN blend and smudge, but not blur a specific area. only the full layer.
Other than that, would reccomend! a great number of layers and settings! Good job devs!

Okay

For the most part, Kleki is a great/free program. I really wish there was a selection and a liquify tool on there though, it would make so many things that much easier.

Kleki is pretty good

Kleki is pretty good. I would like auto save to be a thing (Without saving Artwork as an image) when you get out of Kleki, it will still save.

I wish I could add more than 8 layers, have clipping (It's way better than Alpha lock but it requires more layers than 8 if you have 5-7 layers.), add blending: Add, and more brushes (Blend, smudge, softer brushes, watercolor, it's not a brush but Lasso tool.)

Overall, I'd recommend Kleki.

Suggestions and experience

Kleki is a pretty good art for realism or for cartoon drawing but isn't really for anime, i'm a person with a anime style and would like some more tools.

-Add a "Add" option in the blending option
- More blending tools
- More tools
- selection tool
- Add some more blending options
- Anything that can be useful for anime art and shading, making it more like ibis paint x and taking inspiration.

Overall it's a great app for realism and is a-ok, wouldn't say it's perfect but it's ok, just recommend adding more tools etc.
