Terrible experience with this agency. We got a flat in a terrible state. And as we left it, we got robbed of our deposit despite leaving the flat in a much better state than it was when we arrived.

My experience with K Letting, now rebranded as West End Letting was in all honesty traumatic. I have decided to write a series of haiku’s to help me process and recover from this toxic relationship with K Letting. I hope these words may act as both warning and consolation for those unfortunate enough to cross paths with this letting agents.

Honeymoon first days
Wow this flat has so much space
Little did we know

Week 3 it began
Men with poles of metal clanged
Still we didn’t understand

Scaffolding surprise
Vines we watched the metal climb
Goodbye sweet sunlight

Many mornings did awake
To the rumble of the chute
Man with chisel taps

Faith we had in Kirsty
But faith too does quickly die
Countless emails no reply

Master of disguise
Words of welcome under mask
Doubt inside your eyes

No one did explain
Was too late when landlord came
Mr. Mystery

Subsiding back wall
Not mentioned in the viewing
Yet four years planning?

Fixed not for us
two exterior walls to remove
Five bed into three

Why no honesty?
Clarity or warning
We should have been told

Kirsty my goodbye
Out of sight and out of mind
New flat much less stress

So glad we didn't get as far as booking student accommodation with this agent. Set up a Skype call as for some reason we 'couldn't' see the property before booking!! No response to first email, booked a time to Skype after second email. No call, received an email saying they were running late and would call in half an hour. Still no call. You may be busy but so are we. Totally disrespectful of other people's time and plans.

Property INFESTED with MICE. DO NOT USE K LETTING. They allowed us to move into a flat with BROKEN WINDOWS, MICE, NO ELECTRICITY, NO HOT WATER, this is an appaling letting agent proving hard to reach and unhelpful when it came to sorting any issue. Designed to RIP OFF STUDENTS. I cannot stress this enough DO NOT USE.
