Klf Interior Linings & Insurance.

It’s been months since ex-cyclone Alfred ripped through the S.E.Qld. We suffered roof damage, tree falls and internal leaks.
Working through insurance was easy and the insurance company passed on KLF Interior Linings as their preferred company for the three leaks that appeared. The insurance company had already sent a team to rectify the mould and made a cash offer too good to refuse. We had already had the roof repaired as it was urgent.
Now to the crux of the matter. I came back from a trip interstate and I needed to act, I contacted KLF Interior Linings to come and do the job. The quote "unread"was $2407.90. The crew came; Cory and his two offsiders. Job “completed” in 2.5 hours and they left leaving me to fix gaps that had been left, finish painting and a little cleaning up. What’s my grip? I failed because I didn’t look at the quote. There was nothing to say that KLF Interior Linings would make good by repairing and finishing the job. They only came to replace plaster board, match the speckled ceiling finish and that was it. No painting or completion. No wonder our insurance rates are so high when insurance companies have sweet deals with expensive operators where they can simply pass those costs on the next insurance rate increase. So, way too expensive, only do the minimum required.
