Tv & remote were not working for half…

Tv & remote were not working for half of the flight. Crew were indifferent and didn’t give the service expected in business class. Food was absolutely disgusting. Toilets were smelly and very very dirty even after informing the crew nothing was done about it. Hand soap dispenser was empty.

Worst airline ever, disgusting airline

Worst airline ever. Cancelled our flight 2 days before retuning home. Didn’t have the luxury of being able to fly out the next day so we were forced to make alternate plans as we have a special needs child at home. Stated cancellation was due to industrial action, however, the airline were given notice of this. We spent over £600 for return flights and KLM customer service or lack of was disgusting. Absolutely disgusting airline, will never use them again. Appalling airline

We've just returned from Utrecht

We've just returned from Utrecht , flying from Cardiff Wales airport to Schiphol with KLM city hopper. With myself and 3 friends, & I give KLM 5* absolutely fantastic, flight out and return flight were brilliant , the KLM staff on flight & at airport at Schiphol were absolutely brilliant. I Will definitely fly from Wales to the Netherlands with KLM again definitely. One happy customer here.

Avoid KLM!

We travelled KLM Glasgow to Amsterdam. Outgoing flight was good, however on our return the flights was delayed, then there was an issue with the craft and we were assigned a different gate. By this time the flight was over an hour late. Then however we were notified by TEXT that our seats had been removed as the craft was too small to seat our original passenger count. KLM provided no way of getting us home at all that day. This caused us alot of stress as we had no childcare arrangements for our kids that evening and meant we missed important work arrangements and a family funeral the next morning. KLM were extremely unsympathetic to our situation at the time and in the ensuing communication. I would not recommend KLM as they are not reliable. I will not be flying KLM in future.

Avoid at all costs

Awful flights, awful food, limited entertainment system. Inattentive flight crew. Old plane, poor legroom and uncomfortable seats. To top things off, the airline lost my luggage on a connecting flight. Two months later and no idea where the baggage is. Refusing to offer Montreal Convention compensation, due to lack of receipts for the items in my luggage. The majority of my items were over 2 years old. How can we be expected to have receipts? Avoid this airline like the plague (which was probably quite pleasant compared to KLM's service).

Zero Stars for KLM

I would give KLM 0 stars if I could. We booked a round trip from Amsterdam to Cape Town return and paid for extra legroom seats for our journey. Our extra legroom seats for our return flight was changed to standard seats without consultation. We were not given an option to choose alternative extra legroom seats. The airline is not prepared to do anything to rectify the error. The call centre agent terminated the call when I asked to escalate the matter after having been passed around from one incompetent person to the next. KLM does not care about customer service and does not take responsibility for their mistakes. They said the only way to sort this out would be to pay to change our flight. What a con and a way to extract extra money from customers. Disgusting.

False advertising and not owning their mistakes

Booking flights from Dublin to JFK on a promo deal with the "Light" Fare it clearly shows that you get 23kg of checked in luggage. When I booked it, the email shows no checked luggage. I called to query it, the call handler could see the same thing as me on the website and on my booking, but she claimed it was ok because on the payment page you can click on "flight details" and in the box that opens up showing your flights, at the bottom it says "luggage" and if you click on that it shows no checked in luggage. But when you select the flights it does show it without having to click through to anything and then once you've selected your flights on the next screen you click in two different places (but one click each) to see you do have hold luggage. I told her (politely but firmly) that that was false advertising, which I think is illegal, but she said all she could do was give me a refund. AFTER processing the refund she told me it would take 72+ hours for the refund to go back to my credit card, so now I can't even book with another airline until the refund is processed. I've had good experiences with KLM in the past, but this makes me not trust them. Surely they should own their mistake, and then change it on the website. As I write 4.5 hours later it is still showing the same fare with check in luggage on their website. You'd think they'd be in a rush to take the info down, even if it was just to save their customer service centre taking all day refunding customer after customer. I also think of elderly relatives, or any of us on a bad day who may not thoroughly check the booking screen after they've paid or the email and will find out down the line, maybe on the day they fly that the luggage is not included.
**edit** It is 48 hours and they still haven't changed it on their website

So dissappointed today checking in at Edinburgh Airport going to Medellin 14 hrs when the staff said I can't check any bags in !! Only hand luggage !! For one month is this a joke!!
Cost me £90 on top of my holiday never had this before with any other carriers so won't be flying KLM again

Amazing Flight Experience

Single worst customer service…

Single worst customer service experience of my life. They have been processing a ticket refund for over three months. Today, their customer service rep on WhatsApp chat told me to call the telephone helpline. I haver been on hold for over 3.5 hours cumulatively to no avail.

Shocking excuse for an airline

Shocking excuse for an airline. Cancels your flights with no reason given, offers an alternate flight of a 12 hour trip with 2 changeovers in different countries, just to complete an hour long trip. Will not even provide the refund to cover the alternate flights we had to purchase with an alternate more reliable airline. DO NOT FLY WITH KLM. Money robbers.

Delay after delay after delay

Delay after delay after delay. Rebooked first flight because delay meant missed connection. Rebooked flight delayed , meant missed connection, and needed me to rebook another flight . If only I didn’t have a day full of meetings planned and I had nothing better to do than spend 17 hours travelling for a journey that should’ve taken a few hours tops. Did I get any level of genuine apology or empathy on the phone - No. Did I get a solution that worked for my situation - No. did I get incredibly frustrated by the lack of support - Yes. Next month, with the flights I’ve booked will I become a platinum member of their loyalty program - yes. Will I continue to book flights and accept this level of service …. Fill in the blank yourself (hint - without redress , not a chance)

Top Airline, Top Staff, 5 Star Luxury

We flew to Amsterdam with KLM after finding a cracking deal with them! The booking process is so easy and you can select different fares that include baggage and seats. As me and my friend only needed luggage we went with the basic fare they had to offer. I felt like I was travelling in 5 star luxury on a 55 minute flight. The service pre travel was top! The ground staff at both Manchester and Amsterdam was again great! The crew onboard were so good. My friend suffers from fear of flying and the crew were so helpful and made her feel so relaxed and content! Honestly I have zero complaints about KLM and want to give credit where credits due!!!

Group of 4 friends travelling to Netherlands. We arrived at Manchester airiport terminal 2 to find the flight had been cancelled. Went to customer service desk to ask when the next flight was and it was 4 hours. I couldn’t deal with that, I requested someone put me through to KLM rep. I was put through to Tariq (he works at the airport) He took my mobile number called me back and got us on a flight leaving two hours earlier than the original flight! We literally ran through the airport and was off within about 45 mins! We wanted to say thank you we had a great time and that made all the difference for the very short trip we were making ! Thanks Tariq top man!

Avoid KLM / Air France like a plague

Avoid KLM / Air France at all costs! Bought full fare Business Class tickets from Air France but flights operated by KLM to HKG from MAN and they left ALL my check-in bags behind. The bags eventually arrived after TWO nights. There was NONE phone call/email/SMS as promised by their handling agent. I had to travel to the airport in HKG to find out the whereabout of my bags. Finally located them and picked them up. KLM declined my claim for the one way Uber(£22) from the airport. Not only KLM did not approve the full claim for personal effects of less than £68, those are change of T-shirts and underwear for two nights, KLM also has not refunded the amount as of to-day, 12NOV24. Can't imagine any airlines would want to lose a Business Class passenger over £90. I WILL NEVER SET FOOT ON KLM NOR ITS AFFLIATES. PERIOD.

On 13NOV24 KLM informed me that the case is CLOSED despite not having reached an agreement with the person they have had caused the inconveniences. KLM has decided that it is my fault for not accepting what they hand down. KLM is not at all interested in why I was upset about the handling. Is this what ROYAL about KLM? Beats me 🤷🏻‍♂️

I submitted my request to Air France for cancellation of the frequent flyer membership. I also refused Air France’s hand down of £60-ish, without the reimbursement for the transportation after picking up my luggage AT MY OWN TIME!!! I did not ask for more all I expected was the cost that were involved for the inconvenience AirFrance/KLM had caused me. Not a penny more or less. Air France/KLM, listen: I didn’t have to go to the airport had you loaded my bags on the same flight. Air France/KLM you should be ashamed of yourself for the way you treated your high yield customer!

As of today, 01Feb25, the reimbursement has not yet been deposited into my account despite having confirmed account details on the 23Dec24 🤷🏻‍♂️ There are simply no response nor acknowledgement. What do you call such low level of service? Inspire me.

Why are you sooooo bad? Flight delayed, booked into an new connecting flight. Get a phone call from newcastle airport as I'm sat on the run way in Amsterdam asking, did you fly to Amsterdam because we offloaded your bag!!! WTF is wrong with you!!! Absolutely horrendous.
