Food at Daleside garden centre Hawarden

My friend and I went to Daleside Harden Saturday for a meal. It was 4pm as we had been to hospital for tests and hadn’t eaten since breakfast.
The staff were lovely and helpful and the decor was very nice. The food was however was disgraceful. I had a baked potato with cheese and beans, my friend had a baked potato with bacon and other things. I love the skins on baked potatoes but these were hard to cut and the potato looked like it had been baked hours before and kept warm.
We ate what we could because we were hungry, in fact we should have sent it back.
On leaving the cafe I asked a waitress to give a message to the chef, to tell him how disgusting the meal was. Bless her she was a bit upset but I told her it wasn’t her fault.
I have never rated the food and hadn’t been there for years, needless to say I won’t be going there again to eat.

Amazing First Experience

I refer to the Polmont branch, a Flagship store. We visited on Monday 21 September and were so impressed! It's massive. Loads of the usual items we'd expect to see, far more exciting outdoor 'pods' or garden stores. The Christmas decorations are incredible - all displayed and working, then all around that area you can take the ones you want straight off the shelf. The restaurant and toilets are great too. The food, cakes and sweets are amazing and glad to see the giant fish fingers, so I bought a pack of those.
Here are 2 Negatives:
1. almost no signage for Exit/PayPoint and had to ask an assistant
2. it was not obvious I had to pay at 'Pavers' for my slippers, as they are a separate business from Klondyke
However, I see no reason NOT to return, as there are many enticing items.
