This is a great companion for my new Kobo Clara 2E. The cover fits the device snugly and protects most of the device. Only the bottom edge of the device is left exposed (for access to the charging port) along with the power button on the back, however both of these are recessed to provide some protection. The cover is light and comfortable to hold. The stand is great for reading when you're sat at a desk or a table. The front cover folds back nicely and sticks to the back magnetically. I purchased the black version, which gives the device a sleek and practical look. Overall, I'd recommed buying one of these covers if you buy a Kobo Clara 2E.

Loved that it can fold into a stand for easy read. Only downside is that it needs to be handle with care when put inside the bag. Now i put it inside a pouch before putting into the bag

While charging my new Clara 2E for the first time, I accidentally snagged the charging cable and pulled it off of my kitchen counter onto a hard tile floor. Luckily, I had already inserted the Clara 2E into it's SleepCover. I couldn't detect any damage of any sort on my new Clara 2E. The origami like mechanism to form a kick stand works easily and effectively. It puts less tensile stress on the magnets holding the kick stand in place than was the case with the SleepCover for my older Clara HD, thus making it much less likely to loose it's grip and fall flat. The SleepCover takes up very little room and adds minimal weight. It's very effective.
