Like this product however it requires both wifi and Bluetooth to be on while using, which drains my kobo battery alot. Also it's touchy and will sometimes disconnect and reconnect during use. Delivery guy left the package outside in the snow despite notes on the package and door not to do so, and no way to reach driver direct, so I would suggest using a different carrier service for this product especially when being delivered in areas with great snowfall and poor weather and marked delivery locations.

I love my Kobo remote! It pairs quickly and efficiently, no gimmicks. I can use it for my phone and tablet. The button clicking noise makes me nostalgic for the keyboards back in day. It isn't too loud. The shape is ergonomic. The only issue I would have with it is the battery cover, its quick tad difficult to open. I'm always worried I'll snap the case cover.

I already had a page turner that was two separate devices, but this is just great! it being Bluetooth with the ability to go forward and backwards, although I wish the pairing button wasn’t at the very top because I would like to rest my finger there and not want to press it

So close- try again soon! The remote I have been waiting for… almost. Please consider the changes below and release version 2 quickly! Positive: easy to pair, lightweight, and comfortable to hold. Main issue: battery drain I read daily. Before using the remote, my e-reader stayed charged for over a month. With the remote, I’m now charging every 1–2 weeks, depending on how diligently I toggle Wi‑Fi and Bluetooth each session. Remote improvements: - USB‑C charging port; - physical on/off switch Usability/software improvements: - Don’t automatically turn Wi‑Fi on when Bluetooth is on - Allow Bluetooth to be toggled while in a book (currently I have to exit the book) Current reading experience - Without remote: 1) open cover, 2) read, 3) close cover - With remote: 1) open cover, 2) turn on Bluetooth, 3) turn off Wi‑Fi, 4) select book, 5) read, 6) exit book, 7) turn off Bluetooth, 8) close cover

A solid product, but you can get something that will do the same for less than half the price, and it doesn’t have the ability to wake the Kobo Sage up, which is disappointing. So I still have to open and shut the case to wake it up if it goes to sleep.

I was very much looking forward to getting this remote. I had a different remote, but I liked the idea of syncing through with Bluetooth rather than having a separate device that has to be attached to my ereader. I have both the Kobo Libra 2 and a Kobo Clara BW. I have tried to use this remote with both ereaders and have had a not so good experience with it. To begin, the remote only seems to stay connected to my ereader for about 30 minutes at a time before I have to go into my settings and reconnect it. I am not letting the device idle for very long (just long enough to get through a page) and it will simply disconnect. This has happened on both devices multiple times (I tested both to see if maybe it was just the kobo acting up, but it wasn't). Second, if you use this device, I recommend turning off your Bluetooth after each use as it will really kill the battery of your ereader. Thirdly, the battery of the remote is difficult to change. Great if you're knocking the remote around, but when you have to remove the back it is difficult to do. Overall, I regret to say that I do not recommend this product for the price point that it is set at. My other remote works better, charges with a cord, and was cheaper than this device. Hopefully, this product can be improved, but for now, it just isn't worth it.

Convenient and helpful gadget, it saves having to hold the ebook all the time and can be held at a more restful angle than when using the keys on the ebook

The remote is a simple idea but it really makes reading more comfortable by being able to place the book out of arm's reach and still easily flip pages. It uses batteries and has lasted a long time on them.
