Kobo Sage SleepCover Reviews

The cover is good. The origami stand is perfect for reading while writing and eating. The major issue I have with the cover is the lack of a cutout for the power button. Unless there's a way to power up the Sage without the rear power button i missed, I literally have to lift the e-reader from the cover each time I want to power the device on. Sounds like a minor gripe, but for a device this expensive that is seldom upgraded, the interaction should be more seamless. If I had to remove the case for my phone each time I wanted to unlock my screen, I'd be pretty annoyed.

Great product. Only issue I have is that you can't access the power button on the reader.

Works well with the e-reader. I like the stand up feature of this cover and the color.

I have not gotten to use the cover since the Sage they sent was broken on delivery. It seems to be of relative quality. Picture is of the Sage cover next to my Kindle Oasis (2022) cover.

Fits very well

Works as described and fits the device well.

Needs a place for the pen. Other than that the material is high quality.

Does what it is supposed to do, but with some design flaws. Power button is not accessible with this case on. Paired with the Kobo Sage it is also highly magnetic and the back will forcibly stick to electronics/metal surfaces.

The touch & feeling are great.

I got a Kobo Sage for Christmas from my wife, and it feels so nice and light in the hand I was wary of 'ruining' that by putting a cover on it. The SleepCover is pretty bulky and heavy compared to something like the Smart Folio for the iPad Pro. But the Sage is so light weight it doesn't make a difference to the point of it being uncomfortable to hold (for me). I appreciate some of the design decisions, like the magnet that keeps the cover stuck to the back while you're reading, and the nifty triangle fold to use as a stand. (The automatic on/off when you open/close it is table stakes these days, but still appreciated.) As with all covers, a bit pricy, and we'll see how it stands up to regular use, but for now I'm glad I bought it.

excellent product

I wish it had a hole in the back for the power button, but removing the Kobo from the case is incredibly easy.

It was ok. Did not use the origami feature. Makes for a floppy cover that’s a bit annoying to use. Sleep/wake feature works well.

You can't turn the e-reader on without removing the cover!!!

Works well and the folds are excellent giving various options, a hole in the back over the power button of the reader would be useful.

Good for protecting the screen, and has a clever magnet that lets the ereader snap into place. Covers the power button, though, which means you can't take advantage of the automatic shut-down feature to save battery life. And it's a failure as a stand, with just one usable position, and that puts the reader at an awkward angle.

great color and sturdy, really protects my sage when I throw it into my bag, no worries!

Much better than previous kobo covers.

Cover works very well and is easily attached to my Sage via magnets.
