Bought a r3 waist bag, but didn’t fit as I’m fat. Emailed customer service and they sent me an extension free of charge.. couldn’t fault them 👍👍

Great quality stuff but let down badly by their customer service. I just need two Kriega male clips so I contacted Kriega as I can't find them for sale anywhere, including on their own spares webpage. Exchanged a few messages, was asked why I wanted them, explained why I need them for my Kriega pack and now no further response at all. Their reputation has plummeted in my book

Exceptional customer service, I required a set of OS mounting clamps, not showing on the website as spares, Steven sent me a link so I was able to order and pay for them, delivered via DPD the next day , SUPERB !!

Like others, I’ve been a loyal Kriega customer for years. I recently bought a KS40 whereby the handle failed after using it twice. Granted it was replaced however customer communication was very poor and no sign of a refund on return postage. Customer loyalty clearly means very little to the company which is very disappointing.

Avoid…not what they used to be…
I have been a faithful kriega customer for many years (purchased & used many of their products) but the 10 year warranty appears to be a scam these days.
The waterproofing membrane off the liner of my R30 peeled off completely to which I was straight away advised to purchase a new one.
One lost customer, kriega… shall never return to the brand ! (there is plenty of quality competition on the market now).

I invested in a full kriega OS system. After the second ride day, one of the bags spontaneously ripped at the seam. I sent a picture to Kriega, and received a short response that “I must have dragged it over rocks” and warranty didn’t apply. I responded with more pictures, showing that the rip is at a top corner (I.e., outside the area that would get damaged in a fall), and showing that there were no scratches on the bag. Kriega responded thag all they could offer was a 50% discount. I am appalled at such poor customer service and such arrogance, as they seemingly lack all capacity to critically look at the quality of their products. I can only conclude that Kriega is overpriced, overmarketed garbage and they don’t care about their customers whatsoever. Avoid this company at all cost. Spend your money at a company who cares (and makes products that last longer than a few rides).

Bought a US30 tail pack from Sportsbikeshop in May 2023. Use the bag once or twice a week to carry my laptop to work, it cost £180 and is supposed to have a 10 year warranty. One of the plastic clips snapped on the straps when I was tightening it so one of the straps will not tighten properly now. Sportsbikeshop offered to send the whole bag back to the manufacturer so I decided to contact Kriega direct. I asked if the clips were covered under the warranty. They said no and I had to buy a replacement strap for £9 including postage. Pretty annoying given its not a year old and is expensive for what it is, you'd expect better quality and at least decent customer service. Not at Kriega

Do not buy Kriega Os- base+ bags.
It makes holes and markings in materials That is spans.
Kriega does not point out this problem before buying, and when you complain they just write, That it is the same for every other manufacturer.
Protective film can be used, but it is not optimal.

I have bought the R25 backpack from them few years ago and returned it due to multiple manufacturing defects and a very low quality compared to previous version of the backpack. I literally had to beg them for a refund (150Euro) and I left a negative review of the backpack on their website (Kriega.com). They never published my review. The company is a scam.

I was new to biking in 2017 and use my bike for commuting, so needed a rucksack for taking food, spare clothes and whatever else was needed that day.
After much research I decided on the Kriega R25 backpack and splashed out the money for it. (I can’t remember what I paid as this is now 2 years on but it was quite expensive) when it arrived after purchasing it from Sportsbikeshop online I could instantly see and feel the quality.
Tough materials, good reflective areas for darker rides and really quality, chunky YKK zips for using when wearing gloves. The quadlock harness was at first in my mind, a gimmick, I was wrong.
I packed this bag full and at no point felt the weight on my back or shoulders. In fact I would forget the bag was even on at times. So easy to get on and off with bike jackets on because of the design, another bonus and the general build quality and materials just give you that bit extra confidence that it will last.
This bag was so good that over the last 2 years I’ve purchased Kriega cubes, pouches, dry bags and now the R30 as well (for further rides when I need even more kit). My ONLY negative about the 25 is that it’s only water resistant and not (like the 30’s main compartment) waterproof. To combat that I bought a Kreiga dry bag which I’ve used for many other needs too but it works well.
Other than that the R25 is a great bag and 2 years on it’s still in perfect condition with zero issues. I would recommend Kreiga products to anyone and if this doesn’t convince you then you should know their products come with a 10 year guarantee! If your in the market for a 25 litre biking rucksack look no further.

Da best. Replaced defective products swiftly. You can tell these guys are super serious about their product and the price is completely justifiable. Will not be looking for other brands anytime soon.

I've been purchasing Kriega gear for over 10 years now and always seen it as a quality company. I've only had one problem with the R20 bag, the strap broke within the first 2 weeks of owning it. No questions were asked and a brand new bag was provided.

Highly recommend for quality gear.

Reviewing the 10 year warranty, which is pants.
Email from customer service: "would not be covered under the 10 Year Guarantee which covers defects in materials and workmanship but not wear and tear", which of course is a clever marketing ploy.
I bought the bag thinking I was secure with a ten year warranty, but really any damage after a few days or weeks can be put down to wear and tear.

Awesome gear (backpack 30L), fast shipping. Try to reduce shipment cost for Europe.

I love Kriega gear and have quite bit, two road skins and two R35 Rucksacks and a tail pack, and was planning buying one each of the Kube 1 & 4 until...

The zip on the RoadSkin went a few days ago as in the actual zipper itself. When I contact Kriega, I was told it had obviously been 'abused' therefore was not covered by the warranty. If it had been a manufacturing fault it would have broke in the first few days!

How can you abuse a RoadSkin? you put the helmet in and pull the zip! It was without doubt, fatigue. Very annoying. A 10year warranty should be just that. :-(

UPDATE IN 2020 - Kriega area an AWSOME company… I have SO much of their gear. They stopped making Roadsinks - possibly because of reviews like this. I have now bought three second hand off eBay to keep my helmets as they are very, very good!

The quality of Kriega gear is excellent. I also contacted support having lost a strap and they organised a replacement for minimal cost. Great service!
