This website is a fraud

This website is a fraud. Took my card information and charged repeating. Nothing shipped. All there online presence is fraudulent

Used to love their clothing

Used to love their clothing. Bought some tops in January and they are the size I always bought but they are too small and they will not respond to me to return them. I have called and written weekly for 2 months and they will not answer me. Wondered if it was still in business

Scam

I placed an order 6 months ago. The order never shipped. I was charged. They updated the tracking information after I first contacted them about this to say tracking number "123" and carrier "other" but they did not respond to my request. Customer service is non-existent. The phone line is disconnected. They do not respond to your emails. How do I get a refund?

This is unacceptable. If this company stole from you like they did from me (charging you but not shipping what you purchased, not following their return policy, etc.), consider submitting a consumer complaint to the California Attorney General's office.

Edit: I still haven't received a response from them, after many many contacts. They have asked me repeatedly in their instagram comments to DM them my order number so they can look into it, but they have not responded to any of my DMs.

Return policy not trustworthy & no customer service

I have been trying to return two pairs of pants since the day I received them, but cannot get customer service to respond to my emails or phone messages and cannot get anyone on the phone live. I tried to initiate a return using their online form because the pants didn't fit well and I didn't like the material. But the online process did not give me the option to get my money back despite their policy of a refund within 15 days, so I sent them a message. No response. So I called, then I emailed again, and called again, and emailed again. Nothing.
I still have my items, still want to return them, and still want my money back. I am so frustrated with Lacausa.

Took forever to receive items/Ill fitting pants

Took forever to receive items, then they did not fit. They arrived when I was out of the country on holiday, and when I tried to return, I was informed I was two days late. I've called and emailed several times to request an exception to this due to delivery times, and have had NO response whatsoever. Stuck with two pairs of pants that do not fit.

Non existent customer service

UPDATE:

I never heard back from the company but I did receive my orders on a Friday after disputing the chargers on Tuesday. Interestingly, USPS tracking updated Tuesday night at 9:30 PM. My order was shipped that I received everything a couple of days later on Friday. Everything is beautiful and flattering. I love the pieces.

Non existent customer service. Placed 2 orders using their new year sale code, and never received a single item. Reached out multiple times (phone, email, website) and heard nothing. Nice clothes plus poor customer service equals not worth the hassle. Will not be ordering again, ever.

Worst customer service ever basically…

Worst customer service ever basically non existent. Never heard from anyone after making purchase for over 3 weeks. Had to track them down on IG and finally someone got back. They finally got my order shipped and when it arrived was the wrong size. Wrote to them, more crickets. The most frustrating experience I’ve had purchasing anything online. Be prepared not to get anything you bought or speak to anyone about it.

I was introduced to this brand and LOVE IT…

I was introduced to this brand and absolutely love it!!!
The quality is superb, it's well made and the fabrics they choose are top quality. I like that they have pieces that you can build on by layering and I like that I can get something for work, a night out or a workout - they have some of everything. If you have not tried them - try them! You will not regret it....

Worst Customer Service Ever…

Worst Customer Service Ever Experienced...

Ordered some items in SEPTEMBER of 2023. Decided to return a pair of lounge pants that didn't fit me quite right - went to create a return label on their website and was told to contact their customer service to get my return label. Heard nothing. Continued to follow up for WEEKS via phone, email, any way I could reach them. Finally decided to reach out to their Instagram DM's and got a hold of someone who was unapologetic and barely responsive.

Eventually I was sent the return label in NOVEMBER of 2023 - on an order I had received in September. Weeks went by and I got no status update on the return or saw the payment reimbursement reflected in my account. Sent more emails.

Resorted to reaching out via Instagram AGAIN and finally received store credit, which was not the request I had placed??? I opted to refund my original payment method - which they did not do. I still need a cash refund. I do not want store credit because I do not choose to support this business any longer.

Lacausa's customer service is literally non existent. I should not have to hunt a company down via INSTAGRAM to get a response. I expected way more from a company that prides itself on integrity. This company is a scam and I will not be shopping here any longer - and don't recommend anyone else to either.

Good clothes, weird customer service

UPDATE: I did finally get a response from Lacausa customer service, as well as a refund and a courtesy gift card. Quite generous, honestly! But it did take over two weeks, and more than a few attempts to reach them.

(Perhaps me posting a review here motivated the reply? That was my logic in writing it TBH... but it's also possible they would have eventually responded either way. I hope it's the latter.)

A truly mixed and vaguely confusing experience. But the clothes are pretty great.

Same experience as others here. Their posted return/exchange policy is a complete lie, and their customer service department isn’t just bad — it seems to actually not exist. Definitely stay away.

Lovely products; terrible customer service

I agree with the reviews on this site about Lacusa’s terrible customer service. It does not exist; they simply ignore you. However, in my opinion, it is not acceptable for customers to order multiple sizes of one item. This is horrible for the environment and unfair to the company. Therefore, I believe the reviews complaining about this aspect are unfair. That’s the limitation of online shopping. But if a product is faulty, it is NOT ethical or sustainable to ignore customer concerns. I love the quality of the clothes I’ve purchased thus far from Lacusa, but one item that shipped had a hole. Clearly they need better quality oversight. I wrote to them and sent a photo, but radio silence. This is anything but ethical and sustainable for me. As a result, I would not recommend purchasing anything from Lacusa and I certainly will not ever again.

Won't send me a return label

Got two sizes of a jacket to see which would fit better, and am trying to return the one that didn't fit... if only their returns portal worked or they would respond to any of my emails to the address they listed! It's been a week and I haven't heard anything from them, and the return window is too short for this kind of response delay. Don't order anything unless you definitely aren't going to need to return it!!

Bad Craftsmanship

I just recently bought the Aiden trousers in sea salt for $145.00 and the Cassidy jacket in black for $175.00. The first day I wore the jacket I unbuttoned it once, and a button fell apart. The jacket no longer clasps together. I wore the pants twice, and the thread used to attach the buttons to the pants came loose. I am now missing a button on the pants, and I can’t wear them anymore. Honestly, the thread used to sew the button onto the pants was so flimsy and insecure, I knew this would happen. These cloths were incredibly expensive, and this company advertises themselves as a “sustainable brand.” I expected better craftsmanship. There are many other sustainable companies with garments half the price that have lasted me YEARS. Even worse, there are many other fast fashion brands with garments a fourth of the price that also would have lasted a long time. Obviously, these problems can be fixed, but those repairs cost time and money. I should not be making repairs after wearing a garment once or twice. This is especially true when that garment is over a hundred dollars and from a “sustainable brand.” This company is an embarrassment. Shein has better quality and craftsmanship. It’s no wonder you can’t review their products on their website…

No refund, no response

I ordered several items at the end of November and initiated a return at the beginning of December that a customer service representative assisted me with. They were aware of the return. The tracking said the return package was received by them on Dec 12th. It's almost February and I have not received a refund on over $100 worth of product. I have emailed them multiple times since with no reply and when I call their phone number during the time their website lists it as open it goes straight to voicemail. So I left a voicemail and no one returned my call. I'm getting ready to dispute with my bank because this is so unprofessional and awful. Why advertise as a ethical and sustainable company then steal people's money and refuse to reach out to them? Don't buy from this site!

Missing $200, no refund, no reply

Placed an order on June 27th for 2 jumpsuits, received on July 2nd, and neither of them fit, which was a bummer. I was able to get a return slip and take them to the post office on July 12 (well within the 30 day return window). It's now August 9... no reply! No refund! No response to my emails or IG comments following up about my order! I had really wanted to love this company and their sustainable goods, but $200 of non-refunded (returned!) merchandise is driving me crazy

UPDATED:

Super dissatisfied with my experience. Ordered several items and received them in a reasonable amount of time. After deciding I needed to return two items because they did not fit, however, I found that I could not access the return page. The link simply opens a blank page. I have tried calling and leaving a message on the"customer service" phone number, filling out the site help form, emailing and even messaging on Facebook. No call back, no response, nothing.

It has been a week since I first tried to initiate a partial return and have gotten no help from customer service. This is horrible practice for a business and has completely turned me against ever ordering from LACAUSA again. This is one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had ordering from a business online.

UPDATE: I have finally heard back from a customer service representative and had my issue resolved. They also offered a gift card to compensate for the delay in returning my messages. Apparently there is a glitch on their website.I appreciate having the issue resolved but I do think they should have better methods of getting in touch with a customer representative or a way of assuring customers that their message has been received and how long it may take to get a reply in the event that they are having site issues or a back up of customer messages to address.
