Beautiful Successor
A guest appears to have absconded with our last Laguiole. I suppose the greatest form of vintner cork remover excellence is to have your awesome corkscrew stolen. I was in denial and waited 4 years to replace it, hoping, as my wife repeatedly reminded me, we have no guests that would do such a thing. But alas, I could wait no longer. Our replacement is an exceptional successor. Our only hope is that it never experiences a similar fate!

The Blame Game
I ordered the Suricate knife Dec 18. I live 200 miles SW of Jacksonville. All the other knives I have ordered from Laguiole USA and engraved presentation boxes have always arrived in two days sometimes one day. This particular order took nine days. Laguiole USA is blaming the delay on the USPS. Highly unlikely if you chuck the package into the right mail pouch. I’m done.

Hi Dennis, as we have previously explained via email, we do not have separate mail bins for USPS. All USPS packages are sent to the same local post office daily. After this point, we are not responsible for the sorting of mail and any delivery delays or mistakes made by the carrier is out of our hands. Clearly, the package was misrouted by USPS but was eventually corrected. If you reach out to USPS, they will be able to verify this information for you. We sincerely apologize for any frustration caused by the delay, but we are pleased to hear that you have received your parcel.
