I’ve purchased several Laguiole knives for my sons and grandsons. Their quality makes them a lifetime gift. On my recent purchase I was a bit surprised by how difficult it was to open. But after some lubrication and use it was fine. Otherwise ordering and shipping were simple and fast. Thank you for bringing these products to the U S.

Ordered steak knives for my son’s…
Ordered steak knives for my son’s birthday. When visiting my son I noticed he had one Laguiole steak knife. I was able to match up the color. I did a lot of google research into Laguiole knives and was confused by the large price range I saw at other stores. On my recent visit I was happy with the look and quality of the steak knives as well as the ease of cutting our steaks. The knives cut well and don’t tear at the meat. Good quality for the price and I know from my research it’s possible to pay over $800 for a set which was out of my budget.

I confirm that you indeed requested to have the inside of the corkscrew engraved so I would like to ask that you double check this location as it is hidden and sometimes looked over! The inside engraving can only be seen when the foil cutter is in the open position and you look inside the handle. We look forward to hearing back from you.

Wonderful piece
Wonderful piece, very well received. If I had to suggest where it could be made better, I can only think of the sheath that it came with. It was too tight to hold the wine opener, and the person who received the gift struggled with it, and then gave up.

Well made and beautiful knife
Delivery was fast and easy. The knife is well made, a pleasure to look at and handle.
There was a small flat spot on the edge where the knife edge hits during closure. I topped up the edge easily using an oil stone and for now I close the knife carefully to avoid flattening the blade again. The tolerances are so close that I imagine this won’t be an issue after a few more sharpening sessions. This is not a serious issue and I expect many years of enjoyment with this knife. The knife cuts beautifully.
