They couldn’t care less once you’re out the door

My girlfriend bought a car from this dealership and initially things were straight forward. We had an agreement for puddle lights to be included in her deal which would need to be ordered and fitted, we were assured this wouldn’t take long & that we just needed to pop back in when they’d been delivered. We also had a fault with the child lock that we were told they could fix when we went in for the puddle lights. We’ve called and emailed every other month chasing updates. It’s been 6 months and the rep we were dealing with now avoids our calls and doesn’t call back. They couldn’t care less once you’re out the door.

Warranty fault - Basically fobbed off not interested!

Emission control light lit up on my 1 year old A3. Looked at the Audi owners manual and it says "Malfunctions have occurred which are relevant for emissions. Drive slowly to a qualified workshop (Audi dealership) without delay and have the fault rectified."
So I rang Audi at lake district audi I was put through to service who told me to ring the AA. I rang the AA and they told me they don't have all the fault finding software that Audi has so ring your Audi dealership. I did they told me they don't have a slot for them to look at it for 9 days they won't pick the car up and if I would like to drive the 26 miles to drop it off with them they will take me to the train station to get home but then wait 9 days without a car to then return via train to pick it up! Unbelievable!!
I have before this my first Audi which I bought brand new just over a year ago owned BMW after BMW. This is what happened when I had a engine management light come on my 1 series. Within 2 hours of calling a flatback truck picked the car up and took it to my nearest BMW dealership (South Lakes BMW) just 2 hours later a courtesy car was delivered to me to use whilst my car was at the dealership getting fixed. When my car was fixed they brought my car to my home address and took the courtesy car back.
WOW what a difference between the 2 manufactures I will DEFINATELY be going back to BMW in the near future and will NEVER buy a Audi again!
