This was the first time I had rented a scaffold tower. I was quite nervous of the whole process but it really was great. Lakeside hire made everything really easy and straightforward. The instructions and guidance offered to me as a 1st timer were perfect.

I am an event organiser and use Lakeside for things we need to build our sets/ events etc- scaff towers/ heras fencing etc. I have used them for years and would never look anywhere else. They reply so quickly, they always have time to talk through things with me over the phone, its always the same people who you speak to and so they understand your job, they shuffle around their deliveries to help us with tight turnarounds or last minute changes, and they are all SO accommodating and easy and it makes such a difference to us. A fab company- I highly recommend.

Terrible company, paid upfront for some equipment under £100, everything agreed and email received to confirm order at 10.30am for a job the very next day. Only then to receive an email saying they could not honour the order as our company has cjjs and poor reviews!! A complete lie, we are a new company and been trading for a year and will be submitting our accounts in the next few months, so they declined our business cause of this yet made up false information about our company, disgusting behaviour and left it until 4pm to tell us so ruined our job for the next day!! Don’t use this unprofessional company unless you have solid accounts and have been trading for years. Don’t do it or you will be let down!! Only company thy acts this way as we have several trade accounts elsewhere. How they trade I just don’t know when they treat potential client like this, you have been warned!!!

Delivery did not come when expected but was rescheduled quickly and they were very apologetic. I would use again.

I have been using this company for a little over three years and ordered MANY times. We have used their scaffolding towers often & always paid upfront and had no issues. They have all of a sudden started doing credit checks without permission & our company was refused and a refund was given (with no phone call when I was told I would be called) even though I paid in full by DEBIT card, which means the money was there and being held by them. Our company doesn't have the best credit history because we are new and unexperienced in running a full time business of our scale. I have never once asked for credit and to get an email, the day before I'm due to do a job, to be told they would be unable to supply our company, makes me want to tell everyone to avoid! They've lost a loyal customer and I've had to upset one of our valued customers!

An excellent and fast service from Lakeside Hire; fencing was delivered on time, was great quality and the communication from the company was perfect. Reasonably priced too! Would Highly recommend!

Did not deliver on the Friday so job had to be rescheduled.
Also tried to deliver a day late on the Saturday.
Had to be turned away
