Very disappointed with lamontstone costumer service …

Moved into a new build house little over a week ago . Not even a week in we notice a deep dent/chip on the quartz worktop on the island . We paid a significant amount of money for this upgrade to our kitchen .
I rang lamont stone coleraine and even sent email with pictures . Paul Morrison rang me and said he would call back yesterday and didn’t. Then I received an email today 15 mins before closing time to say it’s not covered under guarantee as it was fitted on the 13.1.25 and we moved in 31.1.25 and I only came across the chip as I was using the care cleaning kit and its very noticeable and now the integrity of the quartz work top has been compromised .
Terrible costumer service
Almost felt like he was insinuating it was me who done it.
As a “gesture of good will” he said they would repair it free of charge .
That doesn’t take the dent / chip away and he fine rightly knows that him self . I have spoke to two Independant quartz specialist over the weekend who said with out a doubt it needs replaced .
And near impossible for something like that to happen when it was installed . So it’s obviously before it was installed . I am just very very disappointed and when reading the email I was speechless didn’t know wether to laugh or cry .
Just a horrible situation that my new home isn’t perfect . If I could attached pictures I would but don’t have the option to .

Complete lack of after care service

Last year we spent a significant amount of money to buy quartzite slabs to be cut for our new kitchen. Everything went well until after the installation when we noticed an open fracture on the corner of one of the pieces. After making the company aware it took two visits from them to more or less fix the problem - although you can still feel a little of the fracture. However, that is nothing compared to the major issue we have had with the lack of proper sealing of the stone before/ during fitting. As a result we now have water marks all around the sinks. After reporting the issue they tried to fob us off with "its natural stone and you need to keep sealing it and that this can happen". Only after sending them a photo of knife being able to fit between the worktop and the sink did they agree to having it "resealed". They sent a couple of guys out who just put a bit of silicone around one sink and I had to ask them to put it round the other. They also said the water would dry out, which has not happened and if anything the issue has got worse.
