A wonderful, friendly service that takes the pressure off the groom!
L&J Formal hire were introduced to us during the suit fitting of a friend's wedding.
I don't particularity enjoy shopping for clothes or trying on clothes etc so I've always dreaded traipsing to Moss Bros etc for previous suit fittings! I remember thinking what a fabulous idea it was, having somebody come out to your house for measuring / fitting!
With all the grooms-men gathered together for the measuring / fitting sessions; It was used as an excuse for a pre-wedding party for them & their partners etc. Although some grooms men couldn't make it to the measuring / fitting sessions; they were able to supply their measurements; L&J then posted the suits out to them.
Our friends were delighted with the service so naturally we followed suit (if you'll excuse the pun :o) L&J provided a fantastic, friendly and convenient service with which we couldn't be happier - it really did take a load off our minds knowing Colin (the front man) was handling it; I would describe him as a dependable and unshakable (nothings too much trouble etc!)
In terms or price; L&J's "Groom Goes Free" offer essentially made them cheaper than Moss Bros and other high-street formal hire companies for the suits we wanted (which is mad considering the bespoke service you receive). Sure, they aren't the cheapest formal hire around but such a good service doesn't come cheap! My wife & I certainly feel it was excellent value for money and service Colin provided made it worth every penny.
Although I'm no haberdashery expert; the suits & shoes seemed to be a really nice quality (I didn't sweat too much!) and there was a great selection for men & boys. There was also a fabulous choice of accessories to choose from (ties, cravats, waistcoats etc).
Everything arrived immaculately laundered as you'd expect, no hiccups at all. L&J collected the suits directly from the wedding venue; which was another little worry off our minds!
All in all, L&J provided a fantastic service which I'd have absolutely no hesitation in recommending!
