I bought this bed base to replace my previous bed base which has last for almost 40 years, although it was getting tatty around the edges! My old base had 4 very large very strong drawers & at first inspection the drawers on the new base are not as deep & do not appear to be as sturdy as the old ones. However I have managed to fill them & they appear to be strong enough & glide in & out seamlessly, which is a bonus. Not cheap. but nothing Dunlopillo is, but you are buying quality goods. so get what you pay for. Would recommend
