My husband and I just purchased our first home through Lanes Exclusive Homes. We were helped throughout the process by Michelle Wright who went above and beyond to make sure that everything went to plan. She was professional, calm and resolute. Making up for the terrible experience we had with our lawyers!
We now have a beautiful home all thanks to Michelle.

Company run by Coke heads for friends and family only the contracts manager Allen will literally sit outside the building site sweating his head off where he hasn't slept and been on coke all night. Single-handedly the worst pile of s*** that I've ever worked for. Captain Hook had a more successful career in prostate examination and these ba*tard cowboys

Purchased our new home in February 2021. If you are looking for customer service,forget it,you won't get any !
We are well over 2 and a half years into moving in and still have some outstanding "snags" albeit now minor,but obviously reported to Lane Homes a good while ago,before their 2 year warranty expired. There has been a rather large catalogue of snags,some big and some smaller. The largest being the upstairs of our 4 bed detached house in St Osyth (Clacton-on-Sea). The flooring was not level. After 2 building surveyor reports ( Ours and theirs ) it seems to have been fixed !! However their customer foreman (I won't name him ) has a memory like a sieve,does not come up with any promises and if he does,can only handle one thing at a time. Regarding the couple of snags still O/S I have tried calling,texting,and WhatsApp him,and no response. I have even messaged Mr Tom Daw one of the directors and got the same response so far...nothing. Only minor issues,but don't you really like being ignored !!!

We bought a house 6 months ago from J Harvey’s Construction through Lanes New Homes, and were promised that all the unfinished work and faults in the house will be dealt with.

After completion was done, they completely disappeared and don’t respond to our emails and calls. They started passing blame Now on each other and got back to us just after our first review in google And after we threatened to take them to court, by saying that the work hasn’t been done because there is 45k dead people in uk because of Covid. All we asked for if for them to do the job we paid, not for the statistic, for that we have NHS.

We never received realistic timelines of when the things will be sorted. All this time the excuse was the “safety of their workers l, and Covid, however they still came many times to do works in the house that is still on sale. All they do is just pushing back on dates and giving shady excuses!

Be careful when thinking to buy a house with them, most likely you will pay for fake promises and faulty house.

I hope they will start assuming some responsibility and work for their salary!

BEWARE BUYERS! I have bought a property from Harvey Construction through Lanes New Homes. We moved in over 6 months ago. They initially told us that the gate would be completed before we moved in and then push back giving us multiple dates where the gates were not installed.

They have been ignoring us and giving us false dates. They are passing the blame onto each other and not collaborating with the residents of these properties.

Please make sure that everything has been finished before buying any properties from them.
