Bought a XR 5.9 from Paul's Cycles back…

Bought a XR 5.9 from Paul's Cycles back in March. It's done around 300 miles now mostly in dry conditions and the rear wheel bearings seem to have gone. I've contacted Paul's who have offered a £25 'goodwill' gesture towards the repair (4 bearings in rear wheel and freewheel) because apparently bearings only have a 90 day guarantee, something ive not even heard i
O
of before - suppose it sums up the quality if thats all they give. also contacted Lapierre's UK distributor who couldn't even be bothered and referred me back to Paul's. For wheel bearings to go so soon is nothing I've heard of before. There also seems to be issues with a rear suspension pivot constantly loosening itself off and much cracking from the rear suspension despite everything repeatedly being torqued up.

All in all not a quality product and one to avoid.

Terrible warranty service

Terrible warranty service! On my Overvolt bought from a Lapierre dealer a year ago the shock absorber broke. My attempts to use the guarantee ended in failure. I sent the shock absorber to a dealer in Italy in September. But now the dealer doesn't reply to emails. A bike without a shock absorber. Lapierre replied that the warranty is not their business and that I should resolve all issues with the dealer myself. It's amazing that this is happening in Europe ..
