The "coach" is annoying. It won't let you actually put your real thoughts in - only the preprogrammed responses. I log walking and it records running. Calorie counts are very off. Scale weight was 4 lbs heavier than my doctor and home scale. I interact while winding down in bed at midnight and it whines at me that I haven’t been active (walking, exercising). Duh. I'm in bed. I really don't care for the pre-planned responses o "have" to make. Why can't I actually have an option to ask a question or give my real feelings. Deleting an wrong entry is next to impossible. I hope ot gets better. Ibwas looking forward to using it.

Pretty good program to monitor heath. They sent me a scale and a blood pressure cuff. The scale works fine and connects to the Lark app. The blood pressure cuff works but won’t display the correct date and won’t link to the app. I manually input my blood pressure. Not a huge deal, but kind of disappointing since the blood pressure cuff didn’t work properly from the beginning.

I signed up for Lark through my insurance and have been using it for a couple of months. Unlike others, I find the AI amusing and entertaining… that said, it didn’t teach me anything. However, the calorie counter is wayyy off, isn’t easily customizable, and you can’t scan items or even search for items. I continue to use it, but count on MyFitnessPal and my Fitbit app for accuracy

There is nothing personalized about this app. It is entirely machine-driven, zero human contact. There is no way to say "none of the above." There is no way to say "this is not the help I want." They send equipment I don't need. I already have a scale, blood pressure cuff, activity tracker and food tracker. My tracker apps work better than Lark's built-in versions. The most annoying part is the phony "dialogue" that dictates my answers in ridiculous forms, such as "Woo!" I really do not want a machine that speaks like an idiot. Even cancelling the account is a major pain. I can't believe my insurance company is paying money for this. There must be alternatives out there that actually help.

Tremendous experience with a Early AI now very advanced
Appreciate effort to keep me healthy but not liking it. I have read all the instructions and completed all the troubleshooting. Doesn't transfer scale weight to app. Doesn't recognize whole wheat bread. Doesn't allow manually entry of weight. Frustrating coaching, needs to be fast and simple. I have deleted the app because I emailed about issues with no response. Feel bad for wasting money that my plan paid for this.

The app usually works pretty well but it is clear it's designed for people that need to work on their weight or blood pressure. If you eat right and are an athletic person you can only do so much if it runs in the family. To have an app always complain about too many carbs is stupid. If you're an athlete or athletic person you have to eat tons of food and sometimes high carbs and you never gain weight so it's totally fine but the app still complains even if there is no weight gain.

I signed up through my insurance and have used the program for over nine months. I received a scale about a week after signup and a fit bit about 8 weeks later. Tech support has been responsive when I’ve had questions. I was able to eventually join the Facebook group. The only con is the meal tracker. It’s stressful to use, not intuitive, nor does it have a scanner. Lark sent me all kinds of ideas for using the tracker but they were things I had already tried. For example, it is impossible to log things dairy free cream cheese (I’ve tried every way possible and it always comes out as some kind of cream when I look at how Lark counted it.) It is the most time consuming meal tracker I’ve ever used to the point that I just don’t track anymore. Other users report resorting to other tracker apps. If you eat nothing but simple foods and don’t eat out or cook meals with more than five ingredients, I guess it might be fine. 4 stars because it’s not a scam, it does what it says it does. I recently was informed that I can have live coaching sessions so we’ll see how that goes!
Lark works with participating insurance plans. My insurance covers the program and I was eligible to enroll. If you don't have a participating insurance plan, you WILL NOT be able to enroll. It is not a scam.
Absolutely revolutionary technology for chronic disease management and prevention.
Don’t be lured into signing up the “free” program which promised you will get a free Bluetooth scale. After wasting much of your time, that never happen. Completely dishonest company.
