They didn’t publish my review because I criticised their sunscreen tube which is very inconvenient for such a liquid product and I was not rude or used any bad word either.

ABOUT LA ROCHE-POSAY
La Roche-Posay dates back to 1928 when the company started producing products enriched with the natural spring water of the La Roche-Posay commune in western France. A dermatologist founded the brand who wanted to help patients cure pathological skin conditions using the natural properties of the thermal spring water. The spring water had already been used for decades to treat skin conditions due to its natural concentration of selenium and the restorative, antioxidant benefits.
La Roche-Posay Laboratoire Pharmaceutique was founded in 1975 by René Levayer. Today, La Roche-Posay is a premium skincare brand that continues to deliver gentle and effective skincare solutions for dry and sensitive skin. One of few clinical skincare brands that focuses more on treating skin conditions than combatting ageing, La Roche-Posay skincare may have its roots in traditional therapy but it remains at the forefront of contemporary dermatology.
La Roche-Posay is recommended by dermatologists worldwide and includes award-winning formulations for sensitive or allergy-prone skin, sun protection, and anti-ageing serums, all of which have undergone rigorous dermatological testing over 25 years of research.

Horrible customer service and a frustrating website experience
I placed an order directly on the La Roche-Posay website. They are currently moving warehouse and have stated this may cause up to a 2-week delay in dispatch. However, despite my order clearly showing it has not yet been dispatched, they are refusing to cancel it.
This directly contradicts their own terms and conditions, which allow cancellation of orders before a dispatch confirmation email is sent.
Their customer service has been clueless and unhelpful. They first suggested I contact the courier to cancel the dispatch — even though the order hasn’t left their warehouse, so no courier is involved yet. They then claimed they don’t handle dispatch themselves and that it would be up to “Boots, Tesco, or Amazon” — which is nonsense, as I ordered straight from the official La Roche-Posay site.
They have ignored my follow-up emails and are effectively holding my money hostage. The only option they’ve offered is to wait several weeks for the order to be dispatched and delivered, then return it at my own inconvenience.
Extremely disappointing service from a brand I expected better from.
I would highly recommend you avoid ordering from their website.
Not worth the price
Tried La Roche-Posay’s Nutritic Lips, Lipikar Xerand, and Hyalu B5 creams… super popular brand, but super underwhelming. Way less effective than other brands, definitely not worth the price
Creams have caused serious burns
Have tried reaching out to the customer service team and have had no luck. I purchased a cleanse tone and moisturiser set and within minutes of using the products my face was burning, the next day my face looked like I had been burnt, then my skin started to crack and bleed. I was seen by my GP who has said I’ve had a severe allergic reaction to this product and advised me to contact the company. I am deeply concerned what is actually in these products? considering you heavily recommend these products, I have now been put on antibiotics as my skin is literally peeling off and blistering, and also taking antihistamines to ease the itching. Avoid these products there is something not right.

This serum really works!
This afternoon I purchased the eye serum line with the little roller.
On the box is said helps with dark under eyes concerns which sold me.
After cleaning my face I applied the serum using the special roller ball applicator. I followed the directions suggested on the side of the box to apply in small circles.
Shortly after I looked in the mirror and to see if I noticed improvement in that area on my first application and I saw improvement!
Yay! This product works! I'm excited to try this product again!
Up date: Two weeks later my under skin looks improvement.

Next-Day Delivery was not delivered, not next day, not ever
On 03 Dec 2025, I have bought some special sunscreen for for 6-month-old baby, and paid extra for Next Day Delivery (ORDER NUMBER LRPB602118). Not only their DPD delivery driver "missed me" the next day, they kept "missing" me for several days (I have Amazon deliveries on those days, by the way; I work from home, so I have real proof that the DPD driver's missed me because they never looked for me in the first place) until today Laroche-Posay's painfully slow custumer service told me the product has been sent back to their depot. This is just appalling, and now we will travel without my 6-month-old sunscreen. Nice way to start your family holiday. Do not buy anything on their website, they just do. not. care.

Recieived products with defects and they refuse to rectify
The service standards of these 'reputable' companies is shocking. I bought 2 face suncreams that both arrived with a defect. They had grains that felt like a jojoba face scrub when rubbing it in.
I reported this immediately and provided batch numbers and photos. They eventually got back to me after over a week and stated the graininess is a "known characteristic" caused by "variations in outside temperature" and they actually had the audacity to tell me how to store it corr in future.
Plus if the texture issue is a 'normal and expected' change like they claimed, then how come when I've searched UVMune 400 oil control grainy texture I can't find anyone else with this issue, I haven't seen it in any FAQs on your site or on any public forums which suggests this issue is rare and they're just trying to fob me off. I've lost all faith in this brand and I don't trust their products.
They basically confirmed that the product was compromised due to improper storage, meaning it was due to their improper storage seeing as they were like that on first use.
Despite this admission, the company refused to offer a replacement or refund, but honestly all I wanted was a replacement, I didn't expect them to be so difficult after admitting it's due to incorrect storage, especially seeing as they charge £21 for 50ml. They just concluded their internal review of my complaint and failed to acknowledge my rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and ignored my explicit request for details regarding their Alternative Dispute Resolution scheme.
As the product was not of satisfactory quality when received and the company has failed to meet its legal obligations to resolve the matter or provide escalation information, I cannot recommend purchasing directly from their site. I have now escalated this complaint to Citizens Advice and trading standards. So much time and effort when they could've just apologised and sent a replacement, instead I need to spend time and effort raising complaints. Avoid they have absolutely no care for their customers and I won't be purchasing any of their products again.
Allergy reaction with La Roche-Posay Anthelios Oil Control SPF 50+ Gel-Cream 50ml
I'm extremely worried the amount of chemicals that are added to the suncreams that La Roche-Posay Anthelios Oil Control SPF 50+ Gel-Cream 50ml is selling and this is something to be reviewed.
I have trusted La Roche Posay for things are changing. The only product new added to my routine it has been this suncream, 2 days laters I have a really bad allergy reaction, redness, burning sensation on my face, acne and bad inflammation. I am not allergic to any food, I checked everything possible. I went to my dermatologist that she clearly confirmed that it has been this suncream added to my routine and she didn't advice me to use it any more as it is full of chemicals. My skin is oily prone acne but with this allergy reaction to this cream has become extremely sensitive.
I would like a compensation or solution for this bad skin problem that I am facing now,
Poor delivery time…
Paid extra for one day delivery as I needed a product before going on holiday but it did not arrive. Rang customer service, they apologised but no explanation given. Day 3 and still waiting! They shouldn't offer this service if can't fulfil it.

Amazing products but so hard to get advice
The absolute best products, but very difficult to find what is ‘right’ for your skin type. Packaging has little in English. Had issues booking an appointment in the past (with several cancelled at the last minute) but was offered an opportunity to speak to Jade earlier this year (skin expert) which was brilliant.
I now need further advice on product purchase due to season change. Rang customer service and they said they only deal with product issues. Used WhatsApp service and no response three weeks later. Sent message on instagram, no response three weeks later. Tried booking an appointment for a video call but the website isn’t listing any appointments. Emailed Jade two weeks ago and followed that up, no response.
I genuinely just want to purchase products but it is so hard to get help.

I have places an order and paid for next day delivery. The order has not been delivered in time, so I have asked for the order to be cancelled and a refund. I explained I will be unable to accept a late delivery due to being out of country. I just received an email that my order has been left in my back garden. Terrible costumer service, no support or acknowledgement of their mistakes. Not to mention the next day delivery was £6.95, a service that was not provided but still charged.

Avoid their sunscreen
I have had eczema since childhood and have had allergies to sunscreens in the past. I am very very cautious about what I put on my skin. I started wearing La Roche-Posay Anthelios Ultra-Light SPF50 Sun Protection Spray a couple of years ago, because it advertises on the bottle as being suitable for Sensitive Skin. At first it seemed ok. However I went on holiday this year and developed contact dermatitis whenever I wore the sunscreen. My skin flared up and became sore, red, itchy and blotchy. By the end of the week I had started to develop some small blisters too. It made the holiday unpleasant and I had to avoid going out into the sun as much as possible in order to avoid wearing sunscreen. After returning from my holiday, I am now having to treat the affected skin with heavy moisturisers and steroid creams (which I didn't have with me on holiday). I asked my sister who is a GP specialising in dermatology, and with a bit of research into sunscreens discovered that La Roche Posay's sunscreen contains methylisothiozolinone which, according to a report by the European Commission Scientific Committee on Consumer Safety, has caused a 'dramatic rise on the rates of reported cases of contact allergy'. This chemical is clearly unsuitable for sunscreens or indeed any products designed to be used on human skin and I am pretty shocked that a company who purport to be selling safe products marked as being suitable for 'sensitive skin' are still using this chemical. As someone who actively avoids aggravating products. I would have hoped that a company with a reputation like yours would be trustworthy, so I am very disappointed.

Received unwanted spam emails for weeks and then they censored my review.
They asked me to fill a form to get a free product. It never arrived, but I started receiving spam emails every week for all their other products.
When they asked me about my experience, I gave a honest review (no insults or something that should be censored) but they never published it.
This was the content of the review (in Italian), I'll leave it here hoping it can be useful to someone else:

Effaclar Bundle
Used the Effaclar bundle and it made my skin so dry and gave me perioral dermatitis around my eyes and mouth. Did the exact same for both my sisters and I. Do not reccomend, and didn't even clear my skin at all.
