Poor customer service

When we installed our storm door the storm expander did not fit right. When I tried calling which the wait time was never less than 50min and was then disconnected. I finally got someone online. When I explained my problem, sent pictures I was told it looked fine and they could not see a problem. Which they couldn't because we had to fix ourselves which left sharp metal edges. I will never buy from this company again due to poor customer service.

I recently bought a Larson door

I recently purchased two larson storm doors for our new home. One, top of the line retractable solid core, the other a step down. In less then a year the upgraded door handles faded and the bottom door sweep tore off. The door handle keeps coming apart. It's difficult to latch the retractable screen closed. Have had many Larson doors over many years, and these two are the worst quality I have ever seen in Larson.
Shop around for a better deal.

Buyer Beware!

I purchased a Larson retractable screen door and in less than 2 years the top portion of the door would no longer stay closed over time. The last and final time I attempted to close the top, the entire unit came apart. When I called Larson and sent pictures, they knew EXACTLY what I was referring to. Clue #1! I purchased the replacement, 80+ bucks and was told just hire a handyman and specify storm door repair. I “hired” 3 contractors who had repaired doors in the past however, the “directions” are complex and tedious the estimates would be quite high. Clue #2! Luckily they were both honest to tell me that the labor would cost almost as a new door and I appreciated their honesty. What I was astonished is how rude and uncaring customer service was. She told me I could have fixed the door myself with a video, or have a family or friend do it. The contractors were lazy and didn’t want to do the job. She told me that the door was NOT defective although I told her I typically keep the top portion of the door up and the “locked” position and it should not have been opened in the first place…before the unit broke. Final clue! It took the final contractor and almost 5 minutes to push the window up and jam the “locking unit” under it to hold the window up. It’s still not completely closed but, at least the wind is coming through the screen. Beware consumers, this is an expensive lesson that I learned and will NEVER purchase or, recommend Larson doors to any other consumer shopping for a storm door.

Customer service is non-existent

Customer service is non-existent. Kept getting in a loop where I had to answer the same question over and over. Wait times for a representative were over an hour. I finally paid for a part that was under warranty.

Bought a storm door last year and the internal mechanism has went bad. I went back to menards to try and buy a replacement and they don't carry replacement parts. They advised me to contact Larson and they would probably send me one free of charge. For the past 4 days ive tried to call with no luck. Tried the website with no luck. So far I'm not impressed.

Top notch customer service

I spoke with 2 people while trying to locate a part for my screen door. I believe the names were Carson and Allen. They were both so helpful I was totally impressed. They knew their products well and knew exactly what I needed. Got the part in just a few days. What great customer service. I couldn't be happier. Thank you Larsondoors!

Purchased two Larson storm doors for…

Purchased two Larson storm doors for our new home. Eglass models with adjustable windows. One has been perfect and is always clear and nice to have. The other one sweats water and freezes to the point you cannot even see out of it. Fit and seals all appear as the other door with no problems. Contacted Larson support and the person told me that it is normal? He even has the problem on his. Open the window some he said. Also use a humidifier. How is a humidifier inside the house going to effect the air between a storm door and the insulated regular door? He offered no help or solution or even interest in trying to resolve the problem. These were not cheap doors and one works well and the other does not so there is a problem. Unsatisfied.
