LaserAway uses spam email for advertising

I recently visited LaserAway Oxnard and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. I was expecting skilled nursing staff to administer my injectables, but that was not the case. The results of my Botox treatment were unfavorable, leaving me quite unhappy with the outcome. To make matters worse, the Xeomin I received didn’t seem to work at all.

Additionally, I faced a frustrating situation regarding pricing. Once I arrived at the clinic, the staff switched the prices on the products twice, which felt very unprofessional and left me feeling misled. Overall, this experience did not meet my expectations, and I would not recommend LaserAway based on my experience. Additionally they never get back to you in a timely manner or at all. I was told my issue was escalated to management, but it’s been a month and no one has reached out.
Overall they are poorly run and do not provide the services they claim to.

I had paid $3200 for 6 laser treatments to remove ages spots from excess sun exposure years ago. The first appt was scheduled on the wrong day. Second and third treatment seems to go without incident. Then I received a rude call from male named Brian. He told me he was cancelling my 4 remaining treatments. Gave no reason, did not offer any alternative providers as required by Virgnia law. Offered a partial refund. The 2 treatments render did absolutely nothing and are useless without completing all 6 sessions. He refused to give a refund for the entire amount. Online research makes it difficult to determine who or what this company is other than a chain of franchises. At no time did a licensed MD examine me. There was no medical supervision or consult. Just a young RN. My impression is that Laseraway is a money making scheme relying on low paid salespersons and nurses, has a very prejudicial contract and tries to upsell you useless topical cosmetics. I've contacted their legal team with no results. Avoid this discount, bait and switch operation and go to a board certified dermatologist with good reviews.

I had an issue with my juviderm injections after 2 treatments. After battling with the company both on the phone and in person (and threatening to stop payment on my acct) I believed that we finally came to a compromise. I was told a month ago, that I would be called back after the weekend, to set my new appt and have heard nothing back. I had both pictures and myself to prove that the fillers did not hold and they continued to look at the same things and tell me my lips were full!
I felt crazy bit I know I am not. Several of my staff asked me, "didn't you get your lips done?" At this point, I feel I have to stop my $750 payment. That's a high price for 1 month of having 💋.

Lazering here does not work don’t waste ur money!! I did 8 sessions and I still have substantial hair growth, I told them this and they said I should buy more sessions. Then continued to trick me into signing up for what they call “financing” which was explained to me as splitting the large payment up into smaller monthly payments. Then when I agreed they sent me a text and made me sign up for a CREDIT CARD without me even KNOWING. I got a letter mailed to my house with my new credit card that had $2k balance on it. I was furious and went to them to ask why in the world they would think a 17 year old would know what financing is and how they expected me to know it meant getting a new credit card, which by the way lowers ur credit score. My hair growth is exactly the same as it was before just takes a 2-3 days longer to grow hair rather than a day longer. I would never go back again this is absolutely a waste of ur money. Also, PS they send everything to you through text so there is no record of your transactions and what they have sent u on email, or else they would be screwed! Don’t fall for these horrible people trying to steal your money!

I’m struggling to articulate how I feel about this situation. Essentially, I have proof of what I paid for, but I was denied the service and experienced deceptive practices. The Botox units I purchased were taken by the staff and used elsewhere, with false claims made that they were applied to my face. A dermatologist confirmed that such a quantity couldn't have been used. Additionally, I was subjected to verbal abuse and gaslighting for merely requesting clarification. I have decided to sever ties with this organization. Despite my requests for them to stop, they have continued to harass me through phone calls and emails, prompting me to file a restraining order. I am perplexed by their actions and their refusal to stop their harassment.

I finally got the legal department to remove the bogus charges and the membership that means nothing from my bill and they priced the botox at still high price but not having to ever deal with these crooks again is worth it. If you get a call from this company hang up! Hang up quickly do not talk to them. Remember a pair of lips will tell you anything. There is nothing good about this company believe that!

I used to love LaserAway and be an advocate of friends using them. While I still do appreciate the fact that all of their clinicians are registered nurses their customer service/sales team has gone terribly wrong. They cancel appointments like crazy because of staffing issues. You can't go there for a treatment or call to make an appointment without being pressured to buy another package or add something on. I recently went in for a treatment and was told by the girl at the front desk the prices for my treatments were going to triple in cost and that I should add on more to my package now. I fell for it and paid. Immediately after her tone completely changed and was extremely rude. I realized I had made a mistake and immediately called to cancel. I was told my request would be put through and someone would call me. No one did. I called three more times. My request kept getting escalated and finally 2 weeks later, I spoke to the girl who did my sale only for her to tell me they don't do refunds. This all feels way too scammy and unprofessional for a business who does advanced derm treatments.

Slow very poor service

DO NOT PURCHASE/GET INVOLVED WITH LASERAWAY IN ANY WAY!! Omg I have had the worst experience with them especially at this location (brea)! First of all, they don’t care about you at all! They are all about sales and they are ruthless! They don’t care what they have to tell you as long as you buy what they are offering!! I literally regretted it as soon as I went in for my first appointment & the rep. was trying to get me to upgrade the package I had just purchased. I submitted a complaint after the first treatment and requested a refund. I got a call from the store manager and they told me that refunds were not a thing. That she could only do store credit, but if you are unhappy with the brand/store why would you want to take store credit??!! I was basically stuck bc she refused to cancel/refund mh financing balance. Since she told me that there were no such things as refunds my bf went in for another treatment & his face looked disgusting!! He had milia ALL OF HIS FACE (they probably don’t clean their equipment) I called the store to get medical advice & THEY NEVER ANSWER THE PHONE! I called customer service and submitted a request for cancellation. They approved it, but the store manager refused to give me the refund that the finance dept had agreed on. She issued a refund that she felt was “right” without getting my consent, she canceled my appointment & when I called in she hung up on me TWICE and when I tried to call again, THEY NEVER TOOK MY CALLS!!! & now I see that this happens to everyone!! There’s so many bad reviews on LaserAway I so wish I would have seen them before I was stupid enough to purchase a package from them!! SAVE YOURSELF THIS COMPANY WILL SCAM YOU OUT OF YOUR MONEY & tell you that the contract you signed allows them to cancel your services whenever they want and you just have to accept it bc you signed it!!! Literally the worst customer service ever!! I literally just want a full refund as I was tricked and gaslighted by reps at LaserAway and I feel mislead and lied to. I want to be done with this company so bad!! DO NOT GET INVOLVED WITH LASERAWAY, let this be your warning if not you can literally just see any of the thousands of negative reviews about customer’s experiences on Google/Yelp/Reddit!!!

I had cool sculpting done at the Evanston location. It was my first time with it. Ellie made me very comfortable, I had tv, my phone, water, etc. The bathroom is lovely, yes I said it. Um I also had laser hair removal and Yesenia did a great job. They are all so kind there. From Kaitlyn at the front desk, to the Ellie and Yesenia, everyone here has been fantastic. I highly recommend.

Extremely unethical practices/company. This place left my legs looking terrible and I now have scars from the lasers. They just want your money and don’t care how they get it or what happens to your skin. I bought a package deal, and my legs looked horrible for weeks and now I have dark scars everywhere, I’m terrified to continue laser hair removal and I didn’t want to continue with the treatments , but since I already paid for it, they will not give me the money back what I have not used and told me that I need to either continue doing the laser that left me with scars or use that money towards other services that they offer which I don’t want. So I’m being forced to spend the remaining $4,573.71 on services I don’t want.

Had hydra facial today . An aesthetic seems to be rushed in, wiped my face quickly with alcohol swab…who does that now?..than serum running around ears and she gave me a swab to wipe down…at the end didn’t even applied mask and didn’t offer any sunscreen..finished the entire process in 20 min..felt a joke..had hydra facials done other spas too and never felt like this stupid..laseraway is lik rip of money..

Please do not go here. The way the staff and cooperate of laser away has treated me is very very unfair and unprofessional. I'm distraught by the way these people have treated me. The staff here tricked me into purchasing services by Telling me lies and misinformation. In the beginning she guaranteed me That after eight treatments , I would have no hair. That's the only reason I purchased it. She literally told me a lie to persuade me Into buying this. I have sooo much hair left after NINE treatments. The way these people lie is sick. Now that I'm done with my treatments and have no results I asked them for help. They never reached out to me .... I had to call over and over and over again for a month to even get someone to talk to me. After i asked for help they never would call never email never text nothing for a whole month or so. Everytime I called to ask for help again they brushed me off. Oh someone will get back to you by the end of the day. No one did. Called them again the next week. Oh someone will get back to you tomorrow. Never did. Then I had to go physically in person on my day off because they wouldn't help me over the phone. The staff and manager were extremely unprofessional. The manager looked me in my face and said "there's nothing we can do" then I said "so you guys tricked me into buying this?" He looked me in my face and said "I guess so". This treatment is very hurtful . I've spent over 5000$ here in the past year&half. They treated me so poorly . I didn't realize that they had deceived me until the end when I had no results . Now after I met with the manager and started the dispute process all of a sudden their cooperate staff is emailing me and calling me . All of a sudden theyre saying "results are not guaranteed " "result may vary patient to patient"
, thats the Complete opposite of what the staff has told me . The whole reason I purchased this was because she said after 8 treatments i will have no hair Guaranteed. She lied to trick me into purchasing all this. If she would have told me in the beginning that I need to do ten to sixteen Treatments to see results, I would have never purchased this. Also its funny because they were NOT calling or emailing me two months ago when I asked for help . They only started reaching out now all of a sudden because I filed a dispute obviously. Horrible place . They don't care about you . They just want your money . They will tell you lies to trick you into purchasing their services. That's what they did to me. Also they're refusing to send me the photos they took of my private areas on their iPad. Like you think I don't want to see the private photos you have of me when you're treating me like trash? One cooperate lady emailed me at 11pm one night out of the blue after the manager already disrespected me in person. But she didn't email me a month ago when I was being nice and asking for help. She still hasn't replied to me . I got lip filler here in the beginning, and I never went there for it again , because the nurse injected the overpriced juvederm IN THE WRONG SPOTS ON MY LIPS. I had to get it dissolved by a med spa that actually knows that their doing . Please don't waste you time or money here. There's plenty med spas that care and that will not tell you lies/misinformation to trick you into buying something.

Automatically signed my daughter up when she just thought she was doing a consultation. Now they are forcing her to pay 30% interest for a procedure she doesn't want to do. When she told them she wasn't interested in the service, they told her she can't back out.

The worst place to ever go!!! Customer services here horrible. Arrived at appointment time which was 10:00am to then have the blonde girl in front desk say it's at 11:30 showed her the email and texted received that shows 10am. She said we'll here it's 11am. Now 11?? You said 11:30am it's for a very small tattoo removal. This is the second time this has happened to us! We live 45min from the location. She just said not her problem was very rude! I will never use there services again have a few sessions left that I pre paid for! DONT GO THERE THEY DONT TREAT LIKE A PERSON AT ALL. when leaving she then said to another customer what a bitc* . That truly was the last thing you say to customer how came on time twice and you moved the appointment. FYI the session for the tattoo removal are only 5min, she could have said our mistake but we will get you right in but no call me a bitc* and say not her problem when asked if a manager is available she said she would say the same thing so I didn't want to argue so we left back 45min trip home. I WANT A REFUND!!

I was extremely satisfied with my service & all the employees who helped me through the process. Gale was extremely helpful & guided me through procedure & answered all my questions. The nurses Erica & Tori were professionals! Highly recommend the new clinic on Mass Ave in Indianapolis!

This company is completely untrustworthy! Their customer service is appalling, and they show no regard for their clients, not even at the corporate level. I purchased an 8-session package, but by the sixth session, I saw no improvement whatsoever. Their response was indifferent; they suggested I purchase more packages with no guarantee of results.

Is my first time at the henderson location. Bad service with the nurse she have an attitude and rudeness..Not friendly at all. Don't want to come here again waisted my time with no good service. The nurse should be retrain how to do her job. She's not professional really rude towards clients.
