Breach of guidelines
Do not use "Last Minute Plumbing"
This looks like a number of companies that have sprung up claiming to provide emergency plumbing.
I had to call out to fix broken valves to stop water supply in the kitchen due to work that was being carried out.
They quoted a call out fee of 49 pounds and once the plumbers arrived, I got an email from the company with the quote. I was quoted at 299.0 per hour or part hour, as well as an additional 15% of the total bill as an "admin fee".
The plumbers were here for around half an hour and fitted a couple of valves to two pipes.
When the plumbers left, I got the final invoice from the company. The total was 489.85 pounds! When I checked the invoice, they had charged me too much for the admin fee.
On calling the phone number on their website, lastminuteplumbing.co.uk, someone answers telling me that the "accounts department" will call me back the same day. Needless to say I never got a callback.
I do not recommend anyone to go anywhere near them. There seem to be a number of similar ones springing up on the internet.
