Be wary of return shipping costs! I wasn't.
While I liked the coat I ordered online, it was a little big so I had to mail it back (closest store to me was almost 2 hrs away). I knew I was responsible for the return shipping costs (which is disappointing since many businesses offer free return shipping or discounted), but I had NO idea it would cost me $35 to return it! Very upset about this and will not be ordering again in the future. Be WARY of online return shipping costs is my advice.

I took my 86 year old mother to the south centre store in Calgary. We were greeted by a sales associate by the name of Bev I think she was the manager. She was so kind to my mother and picked out a few items and took in to the change room and stayed with her to help. After mom picked out a pair of pants she took our payment and was so friendly. I give the whole store a thumbs up and hope to continue the hard work.

Body Shaming Teenager Girl's
1st off I am posting 1 star as this is the only option to get this on this site. Stopped by the Guelph store with my teenage daughter in search of her prom dress, this was our first time out in search of her dress for her upcoming prom. We walked in the store and was welcomed in by a sales associate from behind the counter. We headed to the prom dress section and looked around, another sales rep approached us and noted to let us know if we needed any help. (Off to a good start right?? I thought the same) As we continued looking we located one dress my daughter wanted to try, I checked the sizes and realized her size was not on the rack, regardless I suggested she tried the size up from her size, which was on the rack, just to see if she liked the style. The same sales associate we offered to help was near by, so my daughter asked for a room, while I continued looking around. I overhead her say to my daughter you should take one size up in with you in case you need it. My daughter replied there was none and she would try the one in her hands, and they headed to the change room. After a little while my daughter called for me from the change room. I went in the change room and she said mom that lady was so rude! She told me she could get me a shape wear to try with the dress. I was quite upset after seeing the tears in my daughters eyes she was holding back. I composed myself and help my daughter zip up the dress she was trying, which was too big in the body on the fit. After deciding this was not the dress style she was looking for she changed to leave. I headed over to the sales rep to mention she should be mindful of what she tells teenager girls coming out to shop for thier prom dresses, I mentioned to her mental health is of concern in the world, so telling teenagers they need shape wear is not a good idea. She shouldn't be doing this. She justified her actions saying this was what sales reps told all customers because of the kind of dresses they sold. Now I find this disturbing, automatically offering shape wear to customers doesn't seem right, even worse to teenager girls. My question now is what is Laura's contribution to building health communities if it's operations is not aware of the affects of Body Shaming.
Shoddy customer service and poor quality clothing
Had to return a winter coat after wearing it only once as the back of the snap closure on pocket ripped through the material the first time I tried to undo snap.
So after a long day at work I went into store to return coat and salesperson behind counter greeted me with " Hello, how are you?" Quite pleasant - I replied " I'm fine, thank you." She glared at me and said " I'm fine as well, thank you for asking." Really lady? Passive aggression kicked in big time with this one. I was pleasant but was tired and just wanted to go home. I explained the situation and she told me to pick something out for exchange {also found out they did not have my size in stock) I told her I didn't' want to do that this evening and she told me "then we cannot do your exchange". No offer of a gift certificate or other solution. Now I was annoyed! Another person stepped in and was pleasant and advised they could order my size and have it delivered to my address. Great! I gave all info and several days later got a message from the store advising the coat was ready for pick up. I called back and told the clerk (not same lady) the coat was supposed to be delivered to my home address. The response was "well you weren't charged any extra fees so you can just come and pick it up". When I do get over there to pick up the coat I will be done with this company once and for all.

Shop elsewhere, if you don’t want to be scammed by this store and loose money. My first time oline shopping with Laura, it was around boxing sale and decided to try buying. NEVER received the package. The courier is called GoBolt Boxnight sent me an email about the delivery with a picture of the package left on my door at around 8pm. No door bell to inform that there’s a package at the door. However the package is not there, I never see the package at my door ever. My neighborhood is a safe one. I never have any online delivery missing before. Even with bigger packages and I am away for days when a delivery comes, the package is never missing. Tried the courier customer service - DEAD END cannot be contacted. Tried Laura customer service but no solution at all only forward me the same email as the courier sent and that’s it no other follow up. Very bad customer service. From the reviews I see now that many customers also experienced the same issue as me. Ordered online, the courier GoBolt Nightbox, package never arrived, no solution from Laura. From my point of view, they are running scams for the online shopping customers. So folks, like I said on the beginning, stay away from this store. And hope no one loose their money again here.

Went to Laura’s to return two items. I did in fact lose my receipt and the associate was extremely rude, dismissive and arrogant. She advised that without the receipt nothing could be done and that I could leave the store. I was astonished at such horrible treatment.
I’ve been a loyal customer with Laura and Melanie Lynn for over 20 years. This store is in the trinity common strip mall. Also two associates were trying on clothes and also ignoring customers in the store. Unbelievable.
I promptly called customer service and they pulled up my account and sent me my receipt. It was not difficult or labour intensive.
I will be returning the items now and will also be taking my business elsewhere. I’m really so disappointed in this store. It taints all the others sadly.

Worst service ever on return policy .I screwed over almost $400.They don’t trust their customer they think they can proved them self right even they are wrong.i will tell everybody not to shop there .I was in hospital the day I did purchased and I wasn’t able to go back and return the dress and I got blamed for damage the dress….This is never happened with me before on any store .I told my friend and she said go to consumer board.They need to learn their lessons.

Shopped on line. My ordered was confirmed and shipped December 3rd. It was shipped with Gobolt. Never received my order. A few phone calls placed to both Gobolt and Laura. No order delivered . Finally Laura refunded my order. Dont order online.
Desperate to get my online delivery
I buy heavily from Laura as an Elite member since January of this year.
I shop both in person or at Fairview Mall store.
Before my online purchases used to arrive to a local post office as they were shipped by Canada Post.
I don't know whose idea is to ship my clothes with a GOBOLT courier as I have trouble each and every time chasing, wasting my time and effort between the post office that refuses my package, the courier saying it was delivered when in fact it wasn't and Laura customer service help line.
Courier delivers at most impossible hours, these people are worse than Amazon now.
I have a coat which is worth a couple hundered dollars that I am trying to have delivered to me or get my money back.
I will stop buying online from them, as there is too much uncertitude when or where my items will arrive.

Had an amazing experience today @ Scarborough Town Centre location. I’m very picky & fussy. But Susana helped me to pick few tops not only that she was giving me her opinion as well about how I looked with those tops on. Very disappointed in the quality of the pants I purchased at the end of September 2022. I bought 3 pairs of the same pants (slim leg pull on pant) in different colours at $98 each. After about 18 days, I noticed that they were pilling at the back of the lower thigh on the right side, all three pairs but the grey pair were noticeably worse than the other two. I went back to the store to exchange them for a new pair as the salesperson who sold them to me told me the pants would wash and wear beautifully. As it was past the 14 day return/exchange period and the tags were cut off (as I was wearing them and hoping they would give me at least a season or two of good wear), the store reluctantly agreed to exchange the pants for a new pair but I was told they were FINAL SALE and they would not exchange or accept them for return. The very first time I washed the exchanged pants (strictly according to the laundering instructions and with the other two pair of the same pants in the same load) they shrunk up so much that I can't wear them. I am very disappointed in the quality of these pants and will not shop at Laura again. A very expensive lesson.
Nice clothing, but way high prices.
I think their clothing is a mix of good quality and also medium quality.
I do think their prices on the other hand are way too high for what they are selling.
Their sales don't provide huge discounts.
If you go to an outlet store or clearance section you'll notice the prices are no different as regular in other stores in general that sell clothing.
I must say I am a fan of their clothing, just not their prices.

I have been customer of Laura petit for more than 12 years .
My experience today at Laura at Markville mall, Markham was horrible and will deter myself and to who ever I can share this experience from shopping at Laura.
I bought 3 blouses at Laura from Vaghanmills malls about a week ago . Out of that, one I tried both medium and small in trial room and I had chosen small size as more appropriate on me . I purchased that along well 2 others . Sales associate however made a honest mistake probably and kept medium size in the bag instead of small size .
I was getting ready for Christmas party 2 days ago and tried to put on that particular blouse . After trying it on at home, I realized that sales associate ‘s mistake . I immediately changed to another outfit and wore something else for the party . I just had removed label and literally had put the blouse for just one minute and had not used any perfume etc .
Today, I went to Markville mall to exchange that blouse to small size . Explained the incident politely to them . They were so discriminating , giving us typical looks and smelled the blouse in front of us to check if it was worn .
It was such an embarrassing situation for me and my husband .
Definitely, I would never return for any shopping at Laura as a protest against discrimination .
You can check by name and record that I have made many many purchases from Laura in the past and had recommended many of friends Laura but not anymore !!

POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE !! I have buy a handbag in May that I have received in June. by the end of June , the saddlebag straps were all broken. I have written to the company to inquire what was possible to do since there seems to be a malfunction in the fabrication of my handbag. I propose an exchange but they refuse categorically... telling me it was all my fault and that it was impossible to do anything about it. It's a cheap service...considering the price I have paid for and that I was a loyal customer since many years. I am very disappointed with the service.

First of all- I spend a ton of money on clothes for work. I am a female executive. I don’t always have the luxury of time to spend trying on several outfits.
Laura is one of the most expensive ladies clothing stores- I expect great customer service, a fair return policy and good quality products.
Laura is lacking in all of those categories.
Clothing quality has declined to a point where I would call it mediocre, prices remain stupidly high, the return policy is lacking in fundamental fairness and customer service is either great or crap.

Laura’s has the absolute worst costumer service!!! After waiting for a hour and half on first call , for not much help at all, the second call being 45 minute long wait just to know when I would be reimbursed for the 400 dollars they owe me. The worker was extremely rude and ended up just telling me to wait another week. I don’t have all this time to wait. Which this service did surprise me sense the workers and manager of my local Laura’s where very nice and helpful with my hole situation. Overall the store is fine it’s self but god forbid you have any little issue and have to call customer support because they do not care about you or your problems and honestly aren’t alot of help. I understand if there isn’t much they can do about it but maybe tell your workers to get a better attitude. And maybe get a better wait time because it is absolutely horrible!!!
