i ordered a pressure washer from lawsons due to another company letting me down.
on reflection i would say i am pleased with the service the only niggle being let down by poor communication
the items delivery was delayed a day due to a problem with the courier tnt(suprise suprise)but i was not informed and had to enquire by email which was not replied to and then phone which was succesfull
the item was delivered very well packaged and the price was the best on the internet by some difference.
better communication would have granted another star

Astoundingly belligerent sales staff - rude and don't seem to want my business. Blamed me for their website technical problems and refused to take my order over the phone, I won't be using them again.

Bunch of liars

I placed an order on Thursday 29th November 2018 @ 22:11. Due to an oversight, I duplicated the item, when I only needed one. I sent them an email at 22:12 advising them to amend the quantity. The following day (Friday 30th November 2018@ 09:54), I received an email from Steve Aspery, advising the goods have already been dispatched, and I can expect them later on in the day. I knew this wasn't possible, and replied accordingly.

Friday 30th November 2018 @ 17:17, I receive an email advising the goods have been dispatched. Along side, a text message from Parcelforce confirming the goods have been dispatched, and I can expect to receive the material on Monday.

You are welcome to return the unwanted item to us for a refund.

Useless. Big letdown. Ordered Sat. Told me my item would be 4 days. Now Thursday. Needed for tomorrow. Still not got even the item in stock never mind despatched. Not helpful and person I spoke to very "not bothered" tone to his voice. No apology. No nothing. Safe to say I won't be using this company again!!!!

Take care! Ordered online a bosch pressure washer with patio cleaner. Illustration for the product showed the patio cleaner to have adjustable flow and appeared very robust. What was delivered was a very flimsy version of the patio cleaner much inferior to the one I thought I was buying. On speaking to customer service they informed me that the illustration was "generic" and was of a more expensive model. (I believe that they have now changed the image). A return and refund was agreed and after discussion my postage was also included. I felt duped by the whole episode and asked to speak to a manager. He was dismissive and rude. To the charge of misrepresentation he claimed that the "errors and omissions" section of their T&Cs to which customers sign up in effect allows them to mislead customers in this way. A hell of a way of doing business.!

Great, efficient service. Ordered lawn mower on the 17th and received it on the 19th. What could be better!

Very poor delivery and customer service.
When you call them to find out where the goods are they promise delivery on the next day. Nothing by lies. If you would like to avoid disappointment find different supplier.

After being sold an obsolete bosch planer and fails to come to a compromise because they are “a small business”. I have returned the item for a full refund minus the pick up charge of £10. But now Lawson who are a small business think it’s fine to keep another small buissness waiting for the refund. 10 days I have been waiting now so I will be contacting the trading standards tomorrow and if I still get no joy I will be going to the high court. Avoid this company

Great Price, Great service, Brilliant delivery ordered at 13.30 Monday delivered 8am Tuesday, what more can I say.

I made the mistake to order 3 items from Lawson HIS on Saturday 2 September. After 4 days, since my order was still “in process” I called a Customer Service representative, who said she thought my items were out of stock (although there was no indication of this on the website) , but she was going to check and let me know immediately by email. Of course I am still waiting for their reply, and I have no idea when and if my order will be honored. If I had known that the items were not available at Lawson HIS, I would have bought them from another company (it’s pretty common stuff), and by now I would have received my purchase. This was my first and surely my last purchase at Lawson HIS, also because I realized that the saving you think you are getting at the beginning thanks to a competitive price is then completely lost due to very expensive shipping and handling charges (in my case, over 20% of the order).

Ordered a Bosch AHS 70-34 hedge trimmer. The box was all broken and taped. Inside, the trimmer looked used. Phoned to complain and was asked to send email with photos. Item collected today but do not know when a replacement will be sent (they say it will be after they have received and inspected it). Was hoping to trim the hedge by the weekend but that does not look likely now. It was my first purchase from this company and IT WILL certainly be the last. Never again.

PLEASE READ THIS: I bought a Bosch Rotak 43 Li+2 at a reasonable price compared to most competitors and was instantly told I will receive it in 3-4 days. That never happened and have been calling the number given and goes straight to saved voicemail about open times then cuts off whilst they are meant to be open - I'm now wondering if I have made a mistake in TRUSTING these TRUSTPILOT reviews about this company because no one is there to talk or discuss my order. I don't even know if or when I will get this delivered; by the way it's nearly £430 that I have paid; fingers crossed that something will happen next week. If you want something in a hurry please DON'T follow their 3-4 working days advice otherwise go elsewhere - I will update when I finally get it; that's if I'm lucky to get it 📦📦. If they don't have it in stock I would have appreciated being told that rather than just completely BLOCKING me after taking my money!! Not happy at all.....

Ordered online 8 days ago , than when chased Lawson HIS replied that they need couple more days so I should have delivery for this Monday. Today , instead of delivery confirmation I have received another email where Lawson HIS asking for another 3-4 days ??!!!

I ordered 3 items from Lawson HIS and was more than impressed with them. There website was very easy to use, and well laid out. Prices was very reasonable. Before i buy anywhere now i always read the reviews and if i dont like the sound of something i wont buy from them. Well there reviews seemed good and glad i did.
I ordered 2 makita batteries that have arrived. They are the real deal. Not some lookalike. The price was the best out there, as far as i could see. I also ordered a makita stacking tool box again the real deal. Plus a makita tool bag all of the highest quality.
I emailed and asked in advance if i could choose my delivery day as i work part time. I got a response within the day saying yes no worries.
After i ordered i emailed and asked for the following tuesday which was fine with them,again emailed back within the day. My parcel came on the wednesday instead but only due to a delay in one of the products. In my case it was parcel force delivering so text me in the morning and said i could change the day if i so wished. Then another, with a 1 hour window.
Alan in the office always emailed me back. Such a pleasure to have a company that delivers such a great service.
My husband is a carpet fitter and always needs new tools, so this company will now be our first port of call.

I am very impressed about excellent service - outstanding service.

I have purchased BOSCH GKT55GCE KIT 160MM 1400W PLUNGE SAW WITH 2 X 1.6MTR GUIDE RAILS, CONNECTOR & BAG and I have to say they have the best price so far. Very impresed about P&P charges - £16.26 ONLY!!! To send big parcel to Ireland, while other competitors DO NOT SEND to Ireland at all or if they do their P&P fee it is astronomical high (£30 to £100) - well done Lawson HIS, keep going this way!!!
