site-measure was 09/09, install was 28/9 [1/2 day] and 30/9 [3hrs]. Black powder coat was requested verbally and in writing. Trade turned up with gal fixings and spray painted black on site. Oval flanges 5 [black] were clearly used [prior washer marks as well as rust on one] and trade attempted to pass the damage off as transit issues during travel to site. Trade had 21 days to organise required parts in powder coat and failed to do so. EVERY SINGLE PIPE AND FIXING [other than the plain gal fixings] had scratches and chips down to the gal, and trade again passed it off as travel damage. Trade stated that he would spray paint the affected areas. I stopped him and kicked him off site after watching him spray across a vegetable garden without any attempt to limit fall of spray. On 29/9 I sent web-links to required fixings in powder-coat via text requesting that they be brought to site. Trade responded that they would. Attended site 30/9 without required parts. hiPages will not allow me to upload photos of damaged materials. On 28/9 concrete was poured to secure five [5] posts and spill was left on wooden garden beds, brick garden edging, and path pavers. It took approx 40min to clean up the affected areas AFTER the trade had left.”
