Professional and great support for a house purchase. Easy to keep track on progress and very open for contact with any queries.

We had a very responsive solicitor but the whole process took far too long

Our solicitor was great but communication was a massive fail and I could get through to my GP quicker than trying to get through the reception team at this firm.

I like to speak to people and not live only by emails!

Great advice going above and beyond by Beatrice, helping with the whole process and was very supportive.

Unfortunately, while our purchase ultimately completed successfully, the communication throughout the process was extremely disappointing.

We regularly had to chase for updates, and on numerous occasions I specifically asked whether anything further was required from us, only for additional documentation to be requested much later in the process. We responded to every request as quickly as possible, but some of these late requests caused delays that could potentially have been avoided had they been raised sooner.

Most frustratingly, our estate agent regularly received updates from our solicitor before we did, meaning we sometimes found out important information about our own purchase through the estate agent rather than the firm we were paying to represent us.

We were also advised that our proposed completion date of 10th August "should very much be achievable", only to later discover that our lender required five working days to release the mortgage funds. This had not been communicated or accounted for earlier, resulting in completion being pushed back to 17th August.

The purchase did ultimately complete, and we are grateful for that, but the lack of proactive communication made an already stressful process considerably more difficult than it needed to be.

Based on our experience, unfortunately we would not use LPL again.

The company had a very clear transactional and activity process map which was very helpful however on a couple occasions form/deeds were not signed/executed by us correctly in the first instance which meant that documents had to be returned or signed again which creates duplication of effort and adds to the length of time of conveyancing. I think clearer instructions should be provided to clients to ensure that this does not happen or it reduces the risk.

Found them to be incompetent, after every review of files “new” costs that were not disclosed were added. Absolutely terrible service, avoid and no not use.

I’m very happy with my lawyer and his entire team. I highly recommend them — they are extremely professional, responsive, and reliable!

We undertook a home sale and purchase using LPL.
They were really easy to contact, we would get a response to any query within a few hours at most (usually faster!).
All progress was reported using the Hoowla app which was really helpful to get an overview of where our two cases were.
We would definitely use LPL again.

Laila was absolutely fabulous, the best conveyancer I’ve ever used. I do think that LPL could review the efficiency of their process prior to a designated Conveyancing Executive being appointed as we had a lot of repeated requests and frequently needed to contact their call centre prior to Elliot being assigned. Once Elliot was assigned our whole experience changed and we are very appreciative.

Had the deep misfortune of being sat on the opposite side of the table from these folks. Slow to respond, took weeks and weeks for initial enquiries. Went quiet for over a week at time.

Delays caused by George Bokuchava and the Leading Property Lawyers team cost me close to £2000 in additional costs and a significant delay in selling.

I assume they are dirt cheap, if that is your priority, fine. if you want good service, don't use these guys.

Repeatedly asked for a completion date on a saturday?!?!
