I paid £295 for a full leather trousers restoration after being upsold over the phone. I initially asked for a redye and conditioning, but was told for this to be done it required a full service, which is nonsense.

I was told it would take a few weeks, but it took over two months. I was repeatedly told they’d been sent back on specific dates — but they hadn’t. When they finally arrived, the original markings were still there, no visible redye had been done, and the rivets were mismatched.

No receipt or breakdown was ever provided even after specifically requesting. The response to my concerns was vague and dismissive. I’ve filed a chargeback. Avoid at all costs.

The company person does not control himself, he is dangerous for services as communication is very difficult. Person is constantly express anger, shouted at the customer and express strong emotions if you are asked why their services is not done as it was promised. After my review they forbid me to come and collect my own coat in person on pretend that their so sensitive to the customers, that actually stole their property.
It seems to me that the company is not what is represent itself.

I called them to ask for a quote for a repair on a bag. They hung up and they immediatley follow the call with an SMS asking what I needed. I replied to said message explaining my needs, nothing from them ever since even after I chased them with more messages. Poor service.

This company is dishonest and shady. They received a picture and description of zipper on my bag to be replaced. They gave me a firm quote of 40£. When I drove the 45 minutes to drop the bag off I was told that they don’t honor quotes that they give (estimates) and are not legally required to do so. Then gave me a new quote of 150£. Dishonest and dishonorable company, avoid them!

I made an arrangement to get an estimate and he left the premises before I got there, at least 30 minutes before he said he would be leaving! Girls in the shop gave a very rough very expensive quote.
I will never try again.

Impressive invisible leather tear repair performed on my Hugo Boss leather coat 5 stars well deserved! After long conversation over the phone and series of emails with no reply for a while I decided to take a risk and drive all the way, again too slow to finish the work but the work outcome result was worth it

When requesting a repair to a motorcycle jacket zip I specifically requested a particular make (as it is the most trusted manuacturer & matches the other zips on the jacket) but on return another, inferior make had been fitted which broke on the third time of using it two weeks later. When requesting a repair to beeffected The Riverside Tailors in Kingston requested full payment again, which understandably I refused. On pressing the point that the zip clearly wasn't sufficient for a piece of protective clothing the owner of the business became very rude, offensive & obnoxious & essentially told me to either complain to the zip manufacturer or if I wanted to take it further, to sue him! Apparently repairs are not guaranteed the moment you depart the premises. So, an expensive experience for me & my suggestion to any motorcylist is don't have your leathers repaired here, this business fits inferior zips which could have serious safety implications & if you have the temerity to complain you risk the wrath of the owner who clearly doesn't take to critisism. Not sure I ever experienced such poor customer service!
