Good DJs, poor communication
We hired LejDJ for our wedding in Odense on 30.07.22. Even though the contract stated that we should have been contacted 1-2 weeks prior to the event by our DJ to discuss the details, we ended up in a situation where 2 days before the the wedding we still hadn’t heard anything from them and had to call multiple times to get in touch with our DJ- he assured us everything is okay and gave an excuse about being busy. We provided them with a very detailed timeline of the evening and somehow they were completely unprepared when it came to the order of events on the day itself- music was stopped even though nothing was planned to be happening at that time multiple times, creating an awkward moment of silence among the guests. The party itself was great, they followed our wish list and there were people on the dance floor the whole night, which we were very happy with. However, we were told later by multiple guests that they tried to make song requests and were refused by the DJ because “only the bride and groom can make requests” even though we never asked for that and nobody asked if that’s what we wanted. Some guests were very disappointed by this.
Overall, the evening turned out good, the music was great and we had a good party, but the communication prior to the event was very disappointing and the DJs could have been more prepared as there were moments where they looked like they had no idea what to do :(
