Stay Far AWAY from this Brand
This company, the Amsterdam 8 speed bike, the customer service, buying/shipping/assembly experience has been absolutely horrible. The reviews online have GOT to be biased or fake. The customer service people are complete jerks, the bike is a piece of junk and WAY overpriced. Stay very far away from this brand. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.
Response to Lekker: The company representative (TT) is a useless customer service representative that just used excuses, not solutions to every one of my issues, apparently did not believe me and did not use a great tone with me either. First off The ordering process and shipping communication on the bike is non-existent?? Can you argue that away? NO, I have email proof of no communication from you, inaccurate shipping tracking numbers and the shipment sitting in a warehouse in Minnesota for three days. The bike does not come shipped 85% assembled and assembly instructions are archaic and can not be seen clearly in manual. By the time the bike was delivered and assembled (NEEDED TO BE DONE BY A PROFFESIONAL, versus their words "Straight forward assembly") the very short 14 day (RETURN POLICY) window the company provides to return this piece of junk has expired. As I ride it now it feels like a bike worth 200 dollars, makes noises and is a piece of junk as I already stated. Just look at everyone else's reviews on Trust Pilot before you buy if you don't believe me. If Lekker wants to make this right...then come and pick this up and give me a full refund. I assume you can afford it if you can charge $1398.00 for this bike and it costs 150 bucks to make it. And for the record I never rejected the so-called return offer you apparently gave as the bike was not even assembled during the customer service interaction with the useless employee (TT) that is never wrong. 14 days had elapsed already, I have about 10-15 emails with Customer Useless REP (TT) to prove my words that a return offer was never given. So NOW YOU ARE LYING, which seems appropriate after this joke of an experience and proves your credibility is false and misleading, just like your bikes.
