For years I have used many lenders for credit building and even for just minor purchases. Lending point has been so far 1 of the best and easiest lenders to use. Their customer portal is very easy to navigate through. I just did another refinance with Ronald Barber, a loan specialist. And he made it work so easy I didn't have to leave my home or office. This loan process was unbelievably simple,very streamlined.

Lending Point engages in practices that seem predatory, exploiting borrowers in dire financial situations. While obtaining the loan was straightforward, the interest rate was a staggering 31%. I took out an $8,025 loan in November 2022, and despite having paid nearly $4,000 by mid-2024, my current balance exceeds $9,000. This means my balance has increased by over $1,000 since the original loan, indicating that none of my payments have gone toward the principal. They offer a hardship program costing $26 per month for three months, but it primarily benefits them. I wish there were regulations to prevent such practices.

Lending Point is a predatory lender!!! I obtained a loan for $8000, and have been paying almost $300 monthly since Nov 2022. I paid approximately $4000 toward this loan and website shows my balance is over $8600. They don't provide amortization schedule or monthly statements. Apparently, all payments are going toward interest and not reducing my balance. The APR on loan is almost 27% and I've already paid half of the amount borrowed, but now owe more than the original loan amount.??? Such a scam company!!! Reporting them to FTC and BBB!!!
