Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Looking at 237 reviews, most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Many customers expressed deep frustration regarding prolonged delivery delays, missing orders, and unexpected weeks of waiting to receive their money back after returning items. Buyers frequently described receiving broken products alongside unhelpful interactions with support representatives who constantly failed to provide proper solutions. Some reviewers were happy with the assistance they received, noting that support agents handled serious technical issues politely and resolved problems effectively. A few other people also felt that the computer hardware performed quite adequately overall and appreciated receiving prompt free repairs when internal components failed unexpectedly.

Lenovo Laptop Failure

I bought a very expensive reconditioned gaming laptop from Lenovo via Amazon. It came with a 12 month warranty. It has completely died 3 months after the warranty expired. I contacted Lenovo who will do nothing about it. The Consumer Act 2015 would expect this to be covered for at least 6 years irrespective of warranty. Amazon have been great. Lenovo not so good. I would not buy another Lenovo product. It was obviously faulty at the point at which it was sold.

Lenovo Destroyed My Laptop and Then…

Lenovo Destroyed My Laptop and Then Pretended Nothing Happened!
If i could give less than 1 star i would.
This has been, without exaggeration, the worst experience I’ve ever had with any tech company. The laptop I bought from Lenovo didn’t just have issues—it was fundamentally defective. Despite the laptop turning on, it wouldn't display on the screen within a couple of months. Whilst i could put in a monitor, it wouldnt work with its own screen, clearly identifying a fault with the screen. So, naturally, I contacted Lenovo support expecting a straightforward repair. That’s when things went from bad to absolutely unacceptable.
After sending my laptop in, they uploaded pictures to a portal, the screen was completely cracked. Not how it has been returned. Not only was the original screen issue not properly fixed, but they somehow managed to damage it further! Despite countless emails, supposedly technical engineer reports that told me the cracked screen was the issue, they would not listen. Emails and language became threatening from their side.
Trying to get this resolved was a nightmare. I asked for my case to be escalated and nothing. They wanted me to pay £235 for a new screen and that was that. No one seemed even remotely concerned that their own repair or transport service had made the situation worse. Instead of acknowledging the damage, they deflected, delayed, and offered useless, incorrectly spelt and atrocious grammer responses.
At one point it genuinely felt like they were hoping I’d just give up.
I paid for a working laptop, not for it to be broken twice—once by poor manufacturing, and then again by their so-called “repair” team. The lack of accountability is staggering. There is zero trust left in this brand. The outcome, they ignore my emails and are returning the laptop without repairing it, nor my approval. Never again.
Avoid Lenovo if you value your money, your time, and your sanity.

I am writing to express my deep…

I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with both the reliability of the Lenovo M10 tablet and the standard of customer service I have received.I purchased this tablet for my daughter for Christmas 2024, choosing Lenovo over other brands based on specifications and value. Unfortunately, the product has failed to live up to basic quality expectations:At 12 Months: The screen failed just weeks out of warranty. Lenovo refused to help unless I purchased a costly extended warranty. I ultimately paid a local shop £60 to replace it.At 18 Months: The tablet developed a critical power fault, shutting down randomly and refusing to work unless plugged into the mains. The Repair Estimate: I paid Lenovo a £30 upfront diagnostic fee to investigate. The subsequent repair quote was £150—which is completely absurd given that the tablet only cost £99 brand new.I have rejected this extortionate quote and requested the return of the device. My local repair shop is currently fixing the issue for £90, and I have already purchased a brand-new tablet from a competing manufacturer to replace this one.Despite receiving communications headers calling me a "valued customer," I feel entirely unvalued. Lenovo has failed to respond to my request for a goodwill gesture. I will not be purchasing from this brand again, and I expect a prompt reply regarding how Lenovo plans to rectify this abysmal experience.

Shockingly bad customer service

Shockingly bad customer service, combined with incompetence. I ordered an item 2 weeks ago, it still hasn't shipped. The company is refusing to issue a refund and cancel the order which is against UK consumer law. If you do get through to someone on the phone, the staff are rude and disinterested.

Fake delivery times

Ordered a laptop for next day delivery as it was shown as in stock. After ordering, I then received an email saying delivery would actually take a week.

Very misleading to advertise next day delivery when the item clearly isn’t available within that timeframe, especially when customers are ordering urgently and relying on the information provided.

Worst product I could ever have bought was a Lenovo Product. 2 years old and it is going slow told processor is cream crackered. I thought HP was bad but this takes gold medal for rubbish.

Not even worth 1 star

Not even worth 1 star. Brought a Chromebook at Christmas. 4 months later it just stops working. Ok so these things happen...still under warranty. Send it off to Lenovo, now broken and in worse state then it was. Their customer service feels none existent and expect me to pay for the damages caused by either them or their delivery guys. If it wasn't faulty it wouldn't have been sent and wouldn't have got broken. Would I buy again. Never

Damaged product and awful returns…

Damaged product and awful returns process.

Ordered new machine and screen, the screen box had been dropped so the monitor screen was cracked/smashed in one corner.

Went to raise a return, no contact. Escalated, no follow up. Went to account manager, sent to helpdesk. Requested return again, courier was a no show.

Now on attempt #5 to send it back.

Sooooo bad. Will buy elsewhere in future.

Friday 1st May 2026 What a shambles! We have waited all day for the delivery promised by UPS. They have now cancelled and we shall have to wait a further 6 days. Such a disappointment after excellent help from order line.

Delayed another 10 weeks, hopefully cancellation worked

Ordered a £2k laptop with a 1 month lead time. A few days before the delivery date I get an email saying it's been delayed. Click through to the order page and it's been delayed by another 10 weeks. Email reply bounced with "mailbox full". Clicked cancel button, response wasn't "cancelled", it was "we received your cancellation request" - so who knows what will happen.

Business warranty and service problems.

Terrible service from Lenovo despite business warranty. Now over 3 weeks and still no working computer. First service visit couldn't fix. Second service visit just replaced the same part as the first, despite first engineer saying which part needed replacing which I was told the second engineer would have.
Now Lenovo being obstructive.
If you have a business, don't purchase Lenovo.

Poor quality product and awful service

Wish I'd visited Trustpilot before buying... I trusted them because my employer does, but this was a big mistake.

We bought a £1200 laptop, reasonably high-end for a work laptop for my wife's new business. It was barely used for 3 months given she hadn't started, just me logging in for setting it up. Then after 3 months of regular use, the screen cracked when my wife opened it. Nothing unusual, normal finger pressure exerted from the top centre of the screen, and a loud crack sound occurred rendering the screen completely useless.

Several back and forth exchanges with the repairs team later, they still maintain this is "Customer Induced Damage" and because there is no recurring issue reported here, it can't have been a manufacturing flaw. I'm sure this will be logged as customer induced damage and therefore when the next claim for a similar flaw occurs, their system will also say there is no recurring issue. Funnily enough, there is nothing in the user manuals recommending you don't open the monitor in this particular fashion, so I have no idea how they can believe this is a defensible position. We declined their offer of £700 for a new screen (over half the price of the laptop!) and will go with a local repair company instead, who I'm sure will at least give some sort of decent guarantee for their work.

I have never had such awful service from an apparently respected tech company. I will never use them again, period, and strongly recommend that no-one else does. I will be looking for every possible means to escalate this as I believe they are in clear breach of their guarantee.

I will never recommend any Lenovo…

I will never recommend any Lenovo product to anyone. I bought a laptop which is still under warranty. The hinge of the laptop gave way at some point and I have to report it to Lonovo customer service for them to tell me I have to pay for repairs. They have caused me so much distress. If there is anything link negative star, that's what they deserve. I regret purchasing from Lenovo.

Awesome Customer services

I had some big problems with my laptop that hadn't been upgraded for 4 years, it was a Arm64 windows build. With windows offering very little support Lenovo gave me the links and software to get it up to date. Admittedly it was a challenge and could be far more simple I still think they deserve the 5 stars. Choosing Lenovo in the future is far more likely for me.

Causing me great distress awaiting a refund for a faulty item that was returned under Defective on Arrival UK law. I have a child about to be born and all I can think about is the £670 I might not get back.

No acknowledgement of receipt of item, no timescale for refund, nothing.

Never expected this from a company as big as Lenovo. Genuinely shocked at them.
