Review summary

Based on reviews, created with AI

Most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Many customers expressed significant dissatisfaction with the customer service, describing it as unhelpful, frustrating, and difficult to navigate. People frequently encountered issues with their orders, including receiving incorrect items, missing parts, or experiencing extreme delays in delivery and refunds. The quality of products was also a major concern, with many reporting devices failing prematurely, having manufacturing defects, or not performing as expected. However, some customers also noted satisfaction with the products themselves, particularly the durability and functionality of older models and peripherals. A few people even reported positive experiences with repairs and replacements, though these instances often involved numerous calls and extended waiting periods.

Avoid this terrible company.

I want to tell you about the situation I found myself in with this terrible company.
Since my son is starting university this year, my wife and I decided to give him a gift: a laptop. I placed an order and waited for delivery. On the day of delivery, I discovered that my order had been delivered to an unknown person named "Puca". I immediately reported this to Lenovo customer support on the website. They told me they could either refund my money or reorder it for me free of charge, but I'd have to wait 15 days for them to investigate. Since I had no choice, I kindly agreed, knowing the company itself wasn't to blame, as the courier service UPS was entirely at fault. So the other day, I decided to ask them if they had any news about my undelivered order. I received a shocking response: "Your order was delivered to the correct address and received by you. There's nothing we can do about it, thank you!" I was stunned by this response, as the delivery confirmation clearly stated that someone named "Puсa" received the order, and that my name was Federico Ostin. They didn't care, giving me the same answer to all my inquiries and refusing to help me with my order. I decided to contact UPS to find out where they delivered my order. A few days later, I received an official response from UPS stating that they had investigated and confirmed that my order had been delivered to the wrong address, meaning it was lost, and recommended that I contact Lenovo. I did, but they again told me they weren't interested and wouldn't take any action.
Bottom line, I recommend everyone avoid this company. They won't help you, even if everything indicates you haven't received your order. Terrible company, terrible customer service. I don't recommend them!

Order from Lenovo.com (Canada) at your own peril

Generally, I've held Lenovo computers in high regard. I've bought/used Lenovo's business computers over many years and found them to be reliable and long-lasting.
That being said I think their ordering/fulfillment from the lenovo.com (Canada) side is simply horrendous. If you place an order on lenovo.com, it's a crap shoot as to whether the order will ever be fulfilled. Expected fulfillment dates pass and there is no accountability by the company to update them. Your order sits in no-man's land hoping that someone at Lenovo notices, and updates it. Or you can try calling in to their support site only to receive the answer that they can't answer your question but they'll reach out to the warehouse to get you an answer in 24 hours. The answer of course never comes and you're forced to call in again and again only to get the same answer each time.
Now if you have the bright idea of cancelling your order online, don't count on doing that either. Once the order is in the system, Lenovo won't let you cancel it. You need to call in yet again to have one of their internal agents cancel it for you. Now if you were dealing with a "modern" company, you would think that when you go to cancel an order, they would try to upsell/sidesell you on an equivalent machine that is ready to ship. But no, that's not the case. You need a computer now... too bad for you.
Save your time and peace of mind and just buy a different brand of laptop. Lenovo is NOT the laptop droids you are looking for.

Just here to confirm Lenovo laptops are bad and the person who recomended them to us is off the Christmas card list. I have owned / used 3 over the last +5years and can confirm especially used with Microsoft a minus score is warranted. The third laptop was bought as a gift opened recently and it is far worse than the orginal of 5years. DO NOT BUY LENOVO

I purchased a Lenovo laptop expecting…

I purchased a Lenovo laptop expecting the reliability the brand is known for, but my experience has been extremely disappointing.
Almost exactly one year after purchasing it—about 30 days after the warranty expired—the laptop started randomly rebooting while I was working. There was no clear reason for it, and it made the computer very unreliable.
I contacted Lenovo support, only to be told that because the warranty had just expired, I would have to pay for any repairs. While on the phone with support we tried several troubleshooting steps, but nothing fixed the issue.
Because the reboots happened sporadically and I rely on my computer for work, I continued using it for several months even though it would randomly restart in the middle of tasks. Eventually, when I had some vacation time and could afford to be without it for a bit, I sent the laptop to Lenovo for repair.
After Lenovo received the laptop, they sent me a repair quote, which I paid. A couple of weeks later I received an email apologizing for delays because they were waiting on a part needed for the repair. Then, about a week or two later, I received a call saying the required part—apparently the battery—was no longer available, and that there was nothing they could do. They said they would simply return the computer.
When the laptop finally came back, it was even worse than before—it now does not start at all. Not only was the original issue never fixed, but I am now unable to access my data, which has set me back significantly.
So after paying for a repair and waiting weeks, I ended up with a computer that is completely unusable and potentially lost access to important files. Lenovo offered no replacement, no credit toward a new device, and no meaningful solution.
For a company of Lenovo’s size and reputation, this level of customer service and lack of parts availability is unacceptable. A laptop that fails shortly after the warranty expires and cannot even be repaired by the manufacturer is extremely frustrating.
Based on this experience, I would strongly reconsider purchasing a Lenovo product.

I purchased a lenovo pgx desktop…

I purchased a lenovo pgx desktop (~$4000 machine), which was defective upon arrival. I tried to schedule a repair which after not receiving a follow up I had to reach out again, at this point they said to get a replacement. This directed me towards customer service, who refused to process my order stating it was not in stock (despite the model still being available for purchase on the website). They offered a refund which does not make me whole as the price is now $700 more than my purchase price. All of this is in breach of consumer protections, and they do not seem to care. I have been outright lied to multiple times about repair times and replacement availability by both support and customer service respectively. If you are in the market for something high end like this you would do well to avoid lenovo and go with someone who treats paying customers with respect and honesty.

customer service does not exist-do not buy lenovo

customer service does not exist. They are more concerned it getting the correct spelling of your name so be prepared to repeat it many times and to listen to babbling recordings. I was transferred many times to clueless people who asked the same question repeatedly before transferring me to someone else who will repeat the same process until eventually I gave up in disgust and went to Best Buy. HINT: they are also fixated on getting your telephone number-sure, I want some tech company to have my telephone number-so just make one up to keep them happy, worthless but happy.

I’m extremely disappointed with the…

I’m extremely disappointed with the service and support experience around a Lenovo commercial system purchased for our office.

We bought a Lenovo ThinkCentre All-in-One for our CFO last year, trusting Lenovo’s reputation as a reliable commercial brand. Unfortunately, when a technical fault occurred during the warranty period, the support experience has been nothing short of frustrating and unacceptable.

Our team raised a service request and repeatedly tried to get help. Despite multiple follow-ups, calls, and emails, we received almost no meaningful support from the service partner. At one point, it reportedly took dozens of calls just to get someone to answer the phone. Even after finally reaching someone, there has been no real resolution or urgency shown toward fixing a system that contains extremely important company data.

This is especially concerning because this device is used by our CFO, and downtime or inaccessibility directly impacts critical business operations. When a product fails within the warranty period, customers expect prompt, responsible, and professional support—not silence and delays.

What’s even more frustrating is that Lenovo positions itself as a trusted commercial brand. However, this experience has completely failed to meet those expectations. At this point, it feels like no one is taking ownership of the issue, and the responsibility is being pushed around without any actual solution.

If this is the level of after-sales support businesses receive, it seriously undermines confidence in Lenovo’s commercial offerings. A company should not have to chase support for days just to get basic assistance on a device that is still under warranty.

Lenovo needs to take this issue seriously, improve coordination with its service partners, and ensure that customers—especially business customers—receive the support they are promised.

Very disappointing experience so far. 😡
Hoping Lenovo steps in and resolves this immediately. ⚠️

They have robbed my money

I placed a order on 26th January and it is now 10th March and still have not received my refund. I had cancelled the order and lenovo told me not to pick the parcel up from the UPS collection point and now it seems to be lost. They keep repeating the same things of escalation however no movement on my refund. I have spoken to many different colleagues and a manager named Nordeep. He said he will deal with this however he has not. He also mentioned he was going to call me back however he did not and when I call the customer care team they mention a senior will call back but they do not. Please help me as I have spent over £1600 on a laptop without the product and money

I returned a faulty product to Lenovo…

I returned a faulty product to Lenovo over a month ago, and I am still waiting for my refund. After they received the item, I was told they would “look into it,” but nothing has happened since.

Their customer service has been very unprofessional. Instead of resolving the issue, they keep making excuses, saying they have a backlog and avoiding my requests for an update.

It is extremely frustrating to return a defective product and then have to chase the company for weeks just to get your money back. Lenovo should take responsibility and process refunds in a timely manner.

Very disappointing experience.

I was VERY lucky in a bad way

I was VERY lucky in a bad way. The company Lenovo charged money from my bank WITHOUT permission, even though the order was canceled. They sent me a NON-WORKING laptop in the summer of 2025. They provided me with a return label to send THEIR laptop back.

The company UPS LOST the laptop during the return shipment.

After the loss, I opened TWO investigations with UPS. The company closed the investigations in my favor and refunded the money to Lenovo. All of this information can be easily verified.

Three months have already passed since the beginning of 2026, and Lenovo lies EVERY DAY saying they will return the money within 5 to 7 days.

I say with confidence that Lenovo are SCAMMERS NEVER BUY ANYTHING THERE!

48 hours = 6 days

48 hours = 6 days? This is my 3rd or 4th Lenovo, and I love the products. But the customer service is unbelievably frustrating. After multiple calls starting February 18, I finally learned on March 9 that Lenovo’s “24–48 hour response time” actually means 24–48 business hours, calculated only during 8-hour weekday workdays and based on their internal processes—not real time for the customer. That means I now have to wait until March 11, and if nothing happens, I’m supposed to contact them again. This isn’t customer service—it’s customers getting trapped in a slow internal system. A simple mistake like sending the wrong download link should take minutes to fix, not weeks. I like Lenovo products, but experiences like this make loyalty hard.

Absolutely terrible experience with…

Absolutely terrible experience with Lenovo.

I placed an order for a ThinkPad 1TB PCIe Gen4 NVMe SSD on March 7, 2026. The order was confirmed and the payment was deducted from my account. Two days later Lenovo suddenly cancelled the order claiming the product was “out of stock.”

If the item was out of stock, why was the order accepted and payment processed in the first place?

This looks extremely unprofessional and misleading. It feels like Lenovo made a pricing mistake and instead of honoring the order, they cancelled it and used “out of stock” as an excuse.

Customers should not have to deal with confirmed orders being cancelled after payment is taken. It wastes time and damages trust.

I expected much better reliability from a company the size of Lenovo. Based on this experience, I will think twice before ordering from them again.

Lenova from the factory sent me a gaming computer that was dead on arrival

Lenova from the factory sent me a Legion Pro 5 gaming computer that was dead on arrival, they said they would replace it with the same part number computer but it was not available so my only recourse is to get a refund after they receive it back in inventory and lose my discount to buy a lesser model at a more expensive price. This is a bad company, products unreliable and they don't stand behind anything you might buy from them. I would highly recommend going back to HP or Dell, as far as I'm concerned this computer and company is garbage.
