Where’s my money?

I ordered a phone and phone was never opened. I returned it with prior authorization.
It’s been months and still no refund. I provided proof it was delivered to their warehouse. Still no refund. I’ve contacted customer service numerous times only to be told “they are working on it.” It is past the point of ridiculousness. I want my refund. I cannot recommend ordering directly from Lenovo.

Nice products, but Lenovo Support not so much.

I purchased a Legion 7i on sale. When it arrived it was missing the second SSD, which was clearly specified on the invoice and item description.
I contacted sales support and was told that the issue was software - the SSD needed "activation". They also told me that if there was an issue I could return the unit for a new one. I was transferred to technical support and they confirmed that the unit was missing the SSD. I was transferred back to customer service who told me I that I could return the unit for a refund and would have to order a new one if I wanted to replace it. They advised me to talk with Sales and then transferred me there. This process so far was almost two hours. Sales tried to sell me a completely different model, at a price higher than the local retailers. To correct this they could have just replaced the unit, or sent the missing hard drive, but it seems that customer service is not the highest priority for Lenovo.

I am extremely disappointed with the service of Lenovo

I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience with Lenovo. I placed an order for a standard IdeaPad laptop on December 27th, with an original delivery date of February 5th. Since then, the delivery date has been pushed back multiple times — first to March, and now all the way to May 30th. That means a total waiting time of five months for a non‑custom product, which is completely unacceptable.

Throughout this process, I have had to repeatedly contact Lenovo myself to get any form of update. Each time I reached out, I received vague promises or shifting timelines, but never a concrete solution. Even when I filed a formal complaint, the only response I received was yet another delay and a suggestion to “contact us again after delivery” to discuss compensation. That is not how customer service should work.

What makes this even more concerning is that I have seen many similar complaints online, including on Reddit, from customers facing the same extreme delays and lack of support. This suggests a broader issue with Lenovo’s logistics and communication.

I expected far better from a global brand. The lack of transparency, the constant shifting of delivery dates, and the absence of proactive support have left me with the impression that Lenovo does not take its customers seriously. At this point, I am genuinely reconsidering whether I will ever purchase from Lenovo again.

Absolutely atrocious customer service

Absolutely atrocious customer service. I ordered a 5G tablet, but got the non 5G model. Lenovo mistake, not mine so I asked could they send the correct model. They said best they can do is cover the cost of me sending back the incorrect one, refunding me fully and then ne ordering a new one. Ie order another 5G, be sent the incorrect one again. Tablet was returned, and ill be going for a brand other than Lenovo. Lost a customer and I highly suggest others avoid Lenovo because of their atrocious customer service, especially when Lenovo screwed up

Faulty and poor quality lenovo ideapad3 i5

It's been hardly two years since I bought two Lenovo laptops for my daughter and me. Both are in bad quality, as screens are opening up and hinges are falling off, making it difficult to close and open the laptop. Now the charger also is not functioning properly; it is on and off. I'll never buy Lenovo again.

Very Bad Experience with Lenovo

Very Bad Experience with Lenovo – Case No: 2029640308
I purchased ADP warranty after confirming with the agent that any accidental damage would be covered. Now my laptop screen and other parts are damaged, but customer care is refusing to repair it, saying travel damage is not covered.
This is misleading and disappointing. I paid extra for protection but Lenovo is denying my claim when I need it most. Very unprofessional service.

Laptop that can't run Software

I gave it 1 star because it doesn't allow me to give them 0.
Spent over £1000 to buy a laptop from them which failed 4 times in 1 year. Sent it in for multiple repairs and it came back from the latest one (mousepad repair) completely unusable... it is so slow to take minutes to perform a basic function like a google search.
The reply I got is that their warranty do not cover issues related to softwares... on a laptop.
Looks like I just spent 1k on a doormat...

Previous laptop was HP and gave excellent performance until I spilled coffee on the keyboard. Purchased Lenovo Idea Pad because of price. However the screen jumps when the mouse is too precise when I hover over the mouse pad and also you have to touch the mousepad in the exact position (either lower corner) to move on otherwise nothing happens. When typing an email, not all keypad letters respond when touched and the text jumps to another line and does not make any sense when reading back. Can't wait for my H.P. to be repaired.

One of the worst support experiences — still no refund after two months

On 15 December 2025, I returned a Lenovo Legion laptop (€1,527.03) via PostNL to their Eindhoven facility. Despite having full proof of delivery and providing it to them on Jan 5, 15, 22, and 26, Lenovo ignored to refund within 14 days.
For two months, I was met with scripted excuses: "logistics is searching" or "wait 3–5 business days." When they finally issued a refund in February 2026, they arbitrarily withheld €71.62.
If you have an issue, do not wait for their "investigations." Document everything and file a formal dispute (Geschillencommissie in the Netherlands) immediately.
Because of this unprofessional handling and the financial strain it caused, I will never buy from Lenovo again, nor can I recommend them to anyone. If you value your time, your money, and your peace of mind, look elsewhere.

Purchased a laptop online and trying to ship it to a different billing address was an absolute nightmare. They kept telling me it was my credit card company that declined it but when I called Discover, they told me they never seen anything from Lenovo even though I tried three times.

They finally shipped the laptop, but i also ordered a docking station which was not shipped and after waiting a week I called them to see what the problem was. they told me they have to escalate a customer service and it’s gonna take 24 hours to find out why it has not shipped

This was my first and last order from the Lenovo. I will never order from these clowns again.

Lenovo worse than Dell? Both EARN ratings below 1.0 STARS!!!!

This rating must go below 1.0 STARS! Computer quality down the drain. I bought a new Dell XPS 15 ("best laptop we make") a year ago after my prior version got fat (full) and slow. The new version was/is garbage and required endless hours with Indian tech experts (laugh) to attemp fixing the many flaws. I sent it back for repairs and a software reinstallation as suggested. They sent it back having ignored the problems aand nothing had changed. I bought a Lenovo (remember IBM) ThinkPad ("best laptop we make") in September as i needed a reliable computer and had to move on with business. It also had a bunch of flaws like a black screen that pops up every 55 seconds and a cursor that moves around the page while typing. Ever place a stock order and the computer screen goes black? And you lose the price of the computer in 10 seconds because you couldn't see the screen or ticker movement? Lenovo laughed when i told them about this. I explained how annoying it is to have to click a button evry 55 seconds because my screen goes black. We've been resetting hibernation and sleep timer to "NEVER" (YouTube Videos too) for months and reinstalling and updating drivers endlessly. They have no idea how to stop their computer from shutting off the screen and now they won't shedule discussions of repair/return/exchange. Then I saw their TrustPiltot rating is now 1.3 STARS! That is the same as Dell when i decided to cut my losses!! 1.3 STARS!!! BAD! I have two new computers that have cost me well over $20K apiece by now. Do NOT give your money to these companies. Let's get those ratings down below 1.0....please!! Give me a laugh....i need it. I am writing to warn consumers just how bad the scammer movement is in the IT market. Is their a quality manufacturer of anything? Samsung S-25 phone garbage, drops call, etc for $1200. More hours in line or on the phone. Be careful where you get upsold to "the best" because it won't be. Love each other. God blesses us so we can be a blessing to others!

Worst customer service ever.
I purchased a ThinkPad X9 15” directly from Lenovo’s website. Before I even received the laptop, the price on Lenovo.com dropped. I contacted customer service to request a price match, but the sales representative refused to honor Lenovo’s own lower price.
I asked to speak with a supervisor. Instead of transferring me, the representative claimed to speak with a supervisor on my behalf and said the request was denied. When I insisted on speaking directly with a supervisor, I was told none were available. This made it seem like customer service was either being dishonest or supervisors simply did not want to deal with unhappy customers.
I was then told the only way to get the lower price was to receive the laptop, return it for a refund, and place a new order. Lenovo would rather force customers through an unnecessary and inconvenient return process than apply a simple price adjustment or credit.
This directly contradicts Lenovo’s own Price Guarantee policy, which states that price adjustments are valid within 30 days when the lower price is advertised on Lenovo.com. The lower price I requested was from Lenovo’s own website, not a competitor.
Extremely disappointing experience.

I would give Lenovo ZERO. Misleading and ABISMAL CUSTOMER SERVICE to back it up

I would give Lenovo ZERO, but it is not an option. I went online to order a tablet needed it quickly What was chosen was to be delivered by February 9, 2026. I called and spoke with ANDERSON in customer support to make sure everything correct and would be a smooth transaction. Completed my order with ANDERSON. No one at any time told me it would not arrive on February 9 or that I had to sign for the tablet and accessories. I paid and waited. I finally received notice of shipment on February 9 to deliver on February 11. This is when I found out that a signature is required. I would have shipped to work if someone had advised me. I called Lenovo and the girl advised they did not put signature required on UPS did. I called UPS To remove signature requirement or redirect package and was advised Lenovo blocked all changes and that Lenovo would have to make delivery change. I called Lenovo again and was told Lenovo puts signature required on all orders over $200 per their website. I advised the man that my order was only $179 and did not even make$200 threshold. He advised sorry there is nothing he can do. He would not let me speak to a supervisor or management either to try to resolve Lenovos misrepresentation and misinformation or lack thereof. So now I am out a tablet that cannot be delivered, out my $ and will have to fight to get a refund. NEVER EVER BUY LENOVO!!! You have been warned.

NEVER BUY FROM LENOVO

I ordered a legion go 2 some time last year that was supposed to be delivered on the 5th of January 2026, signed for delivery.

Got a notification to say it had been delivered whilst at work - no signature, a picture of a box in front of a pair of legs. Not even my door.

Have been in touch Lenovo since the 5th of January and not even their formal complaints team respond to emails and specialists on the phone refer to email.

So now I am taking legal action through Section 75 and contacting the ombudsman. NEVER EVER SPEND MONEY WITH THIS COMPANY. In the UK we have the Financial Ombudsman that ensures companies adhere to the Consumer Rights act of 2025 and the distance selling regulation - a fact that Lenovo seems oblivious of.

They even asked me to get a crime reference number, which I did and they confirmed in writing that upon sharing his they would process my refund within 5-7 days.... day 10 and still nothing. not a word. not a peep.

I am now litigating for loss of earnings due to time spent on this matter.

Omg, where do I start with this company. Everything about this company sucks, especially their customer service. I ordered a monitor, and now after two months I am still waiting for it and I don't even know the status of it. I literally called 11 times, and not only that but they took money from my account and I can't even cancel the order because they have to wait to confirm my order.
