Lensway quite heavily promotes certain products to customers even if they dont actually align with the customer’s contact lenses prescription. My old contact lenses model was discontinued and I changed to another model that was recommended by the website based on a search for the original model. A little bit sloppy on my side perhaps, but I did not check the exact measurements of the new lens, and the website also did not flag the deviation between my order and my prescription. I ended with severe cornea damage and dry eye syndrome caused by contact lens measurements that were off. The difference between the models was not big but even small differences can sometimes be consequential. Should contact lens stores flag if you are about to order a product that is a little bit off? It is ok to very visibly advertise lenses that don’t quite suit?

We're sorry to hear about your experience with the lenses.
It is up to our customers to make sure that they order the right measurements for the lenses. It is not something our site keeps track of for the customer.
We always recommend that you should go to an optician for a new lens recommendation if your usual lenses are discontinued. Moreover, the optician can make sure that you buy lenses that are fit for your eyes.
The lenses advertised on our website are the most similar ones to the discontinued - but they are not the same.
In addition to that, since lenses classify as medical products we are not able to recommend any lenses to our customers.

Interesting experience but way below…
Interesting experience but way below the expectations a few points that leads to customer frustrations:
1. On site VTO does not show real look and fit of frames. It is just nice toy but impossible to understand if frame sits exactly as claim
2. No frames selection for reading glasses with very small lenses.
3. The sizing of frames reflected on the site does not corresponds to actual measurements. The delivered frame way 3 - 4 mm larger that define on site. As the result frame does not sit on the nouse as expected.
4. Unclear at all how the lease calibration is done according to actual face structure (e.g. physical shops makes special measurements to identify lens centroids).

good service for fair price
good service for fair price, there was some issue with the post company getting confused and sending me wrong parcel(which had nothing to do with lensway company), so lensway took care of it right away and sent me my order properly right away without problem so i got my glasses as soon as possible, so they care about costumers, reccomended!!!
