Cowboys working at Car Garage

I called them up inquiring about a car which looked like the odometer had been tampered with , the car had partial service history for me its not good enough. I asked a few questions regarding the car like the timing belt he brushed me off telling me it doesn't need doing when i researched it should of been done at between 50k - 80k . What a load rubbish to put it politely . Looks like most of the cars have issues in this garage , Michael was just laughing he's a very rude man no people skills of course I am going ask questions after questions its the normal thing to do. I wouldn't trust them at all.

Avoid unless you want to waste £1000s

Purchased a car from them for £15k. A four year old car with FSH. Got home and found that it had faulty switches. Engine blew up within 8 months of buying the car. Tried to claim off the warranty but this was VOID!!! Why? Because it was not fully serviced. The car has no proof of service at 20k. All they care about is getting you to sign for their commission and are very pushy when it comes to this. I am now dealing with small claims court, motor ombudsman, finance company...BEWARE!!!!!!!

Keep Well Away from this Garage

Well where do I start!! I wanted to buy a car from this garage, I asked numerous questions about the car, ie, automatic gearbox service, which i told had been done and it had not, fine I was over that and said we could do this elsewhere, i done my homework on the service history of the car, and asked a simple question to see the service book as the garage said they has serviced it in the past 2 years, for my own piece of mind, I was spending £1000s on a car I want to know the history of the car.
David who i had been dealing with and i thought was great at the beginning by the way, didn't seem to like the fact i was asking questions about the car, which in my own right i can......he was so rude!! Told me its up to him who who he sells the car too, and he didnt want to sell me the car, and when i questioned why, as you can imagine i was shocked, he told me to leave his office!!
I am extremely disappointed in this garage as my father in law has used this garage time and time again. For David to speak to a customer the way he spoke to me, I am very surprised he has any customers at all!
I will never recommend or certainly purchase a car from Les Raynor!!
David has left me physically upset and fumin! And he spoke to me like in front of my 9 year old daughter which is as far as I am concerned out of line!!
This brings me back to the car, I think ive dodged a bullet, I think there is something wrong with this car that he didnt want to be honest about, why would any salesman refuse to sell a car to a customer when all they wanted was the car's history to help make the right decision!
Disgusted!!!😡😡😡

I offered £500 less of an asking price…

I offered £500 less of an asking price of £13,500 for a high mileage car with no service history just to be told we are putting square objects into round holes, hahaha! cheers Dave, I heard your sighs on my way out.

Faulty ar

I bought the car over a year ago. It was a simple transaction, and the seller named Dave was very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, that's where the positives end - from the very first days of use, there were problems with the engine, and the promised service turned out to be incomplete. Since I had a 6-month warranty, after contacting the seller Dave, he took the car for repairs without any issues and provided a replacement - this happened several times. I asked for the possibility of returning the car, but I was told that there was no such option. After 6 months from the purchase, I stopped contacting the seller, although the car was at the mechanic's practically every month, constantly with the same existing engine problem. After several visits and service at an authorized Mazda workshop, which cost me a total of £2000, I found out that the car has a faulty engine, and its replacement would be around £7000. I bought the Mazda CX-5 (2019) for £14k with a mileage of 72k, and I have only driven 7k miles in over a year, and it's already ready for scrap. I have a grievance against the seller because he seemed honest and had good reviews from buyers, yet by selling a defective car - even if unknowingly - he did not accept it back.

Definitely avoid these cowboys.

Definitely avoid these cowboys.
Told me they fully serviced the car which I questioned took it to a reputable garage to have a service done and the garage gave me a written report which said oil was few years old and filter disintegrated when took off.
Day 1 of having the car engine light came on took car back to dealer about 20 times in 5 month period.
They told me I had a 6 month warranty when purchased.
Didn't honour the full 6 months
If you do buy a car from these check your paperwork as dave lies they say you have 6 months but if u use it they change it to 3 months telling you had an option to upgrade to 6 months more lies.
Also if you accept a courtesy car check the details of said car as the 1 I got had no tax, insurance and mot which if I had got pulled I would have been liable so be careful.
When they sell a car there is no customer service.

I bought a 2018 Discovery Sport in…

I bought a 2018 Discovery Sport in November 23, for £16000, in May 24 I saw another car on the site, so I asked for a valuation on my Discovery, and they offered me £7000. So I was to lose £9000 in 6 months, so I wouldn’t be going back to Foxhunters again

Warranty issue .

Hi, I live in Scotland and accidentally bought a car from these guys last May. The car was delivered without the jobs agreed to do before delivery and with a hopeless valeting and polishing . The same week car came up with an AC issue for which I left the car with them for 2 weeks to repair and they did not even bothered to look into the issue, until I went after 2 weeks to collect the car. I am still having the issue . Never ever trust these guys and their in-house warranty . They said they are happy to repair it if I take it to them again at my cost and leave there for another 2 weeks .(3.5 to 4 hrs drive one side ) And also not willing to give a courtesy car . Hope this jokers doesn’t respect your time and money. I recommend never buy a car from these guys.
